I mean they NE-ed Green Diamonds into Space Diamonds, and that at least shares a hop profile. I dunno, AGE was a pretty special beer to me and if they don't brew it again I'll be really disappointed. I guess All Orange Everything is the closest thing, now.

Green Diamonds is Galaxy/Amarillo, Space Diamonds is exclusively Galaxy. The "NE'ed" version of Green Diamonds was Dancing Green Diamonds, which was very forgettable.

Wouldn't mind a total revamp of Green Diamonds while we're at it.

Oh, right, I think I tried to pretend DGD never happened. Thanks for the clarification.

I would totally dig a revamp of Green Diamonds, isn't Treehouse Green the same hop profile?

I’ve never been the hugest fan of AGE. And I didn’t try the revamp. But are some things not better left alone? That’s a signature beer for OH. Does every hoppy beer have to be soft/fruity/cloudy? They could just call it something else if they wanted to have a NE beer that utilises the same hops.

I’ve never considered myself as having a great palate. But I’d like to think that in the past, should I have blindly tasted 10-15 beers from a favourite/familiar brewery, that I’d have a decent chance of getting most right. I think with OH I’d have no chance of getting close to even half of them. It’s all becoming a whole lot of same-same.

So because they released a DDH version of AGE with a different yeast strain, that means that OG AGE is no more? Did they say that this is the new AGE for now on? A little confused here. I don't drink AGE so I'm just curious if I missed something.

They didn't announce it, but I wouldn't be surprised. Once they tweaked Hop Showers there was no turning back.

Didn't even notice how long it's been since OG Hop Showers was released in cans. Although I do love what they're doing with it, I would like to see a return of regular Hop Showers.

I guess for now on it's All Juicy Everything

No way, the Blocktoberfest beer is an IPA!

Something to Drink When All the IPA is Gone is a pretty funny name, especially given that it will almost certainly stick around for a while but it sounds nice.

Does this mean a possible midweek Short, Dark, and Handsome release either this week or next?

I'm less angry about Showers because I enjoy both versions of HS equally. New AGE just tastes like Generic 2017 OH DIPA.

Yeah I reckon the “we decided to update our yeast strains” vs “we experimented with this one” hints at more of a permanent move too. Who knows though

I thought that meant just for the DDH version, but yeah I wouldn't be surprised if it's the new yeast strain for now on.

Lol it's funny how lacking in denotative value the "DDH" term is...

Doubled the amount of late addition hops... DDH!

Used lupulin powder instead of pellets... DDH!

Added another round of dry hopping.... DDH!

Experimented with a more expressive yeast strain..... DDH?

Maybe they should call it Double Dry Hopped Expressive Yeast Fermented All Green Everything (with token acronym DDHEYFAGE, of course).

If people are more in favor of OH releasing styles other than IPAs, I would like to beg again for a collab with Carton. Do something silly.

That would be fun. Have they done a collab at Other Half or is All Orange the only one they have done over at Carton?

Haven't had the new AGE (or any AGE for that matter), however I am enjoying DDH Small Green. Very nice session beer.
