sorry if this has been covered, i have neglected to read this thread for a while. in part because i haven't had anything to contribute (my bottle opener hasn't broken)

is there a reason why Bruery / Offshoot doesn't just can Humulus Lager?

    Glad to hear it! ;-)

P.S. We'll have a crowler option opening up for Reserve Society-exclusive fills soon. Stay tuned!

So many of these sound incredible. The guy I split HS is out of town so I can’t get a ticket

All those for the release party, and they struggle to come out with more than a single new bottled variant every year. It's like they don't like money...:stuck_out_tongue:

Right? I posted the picture to a group discord chat...each person picked a different one we would drink all night, mine was Elvis BT.

depends on how well they fill it. A half ass fill gives you a poor shelf life but if they do it right it's about as good as canning or bottling. Glass is also a slightly better insulator which helps with temperature stability.

Crowlers inherently have considerably more dissolved oxygen than any decent canning or bottling line. The perceived difference might be minimal depending upon the style, but the packaging environments are substantially different and should be treated as such.

I really enjoyed Elvis BT, was on tap a few times the beginning of the year (or was it late last year)

Maybe we can do crowler fills if there are any extras from the BT party , lol.

Given that list, I'm now even more bummed I'm missing the BT party.

Well last year they realeased Juicy Tuesdays for the BT party. I tried it, was not a fan if I remember. So I guess this year it'll be "super juicy"

Huh, I must have missed that last year. Was it just an IPA, or did it have some connection to BT?

I know this is a bit off topic, but has anyone heard news regarding the Bruery / Stone Berlin collab? I thought that there was initially a release date towards the end of July, but haven't heard anything for quite a while now.

Has anyone tried "Why Wait Until Wednesday?" Yet? ISO: Crowler of WWUW. FT: A crowler from Fieldwork, Cellarmaker, or other Bay Area brewery of choice.

I enjoyed it, but thought the raspberry was a bit overpowering.

I suppose that's better than the raspberry being subtle? I really enjoy raspberry stouts such as Lindley park. Looking forward to trying it.
