I think the Far from Dawn stout I had the brewery was outstanding!!!

FWIW, I do agree that The Veil seems to focus more on coming up with cool names and labels every week to differentiate their DIPAs, and less on brewing unique beers. But having said that, I think last week's Human Adult DIPA with guava was really good and different than their typical beers. I was skeptical of the fruit addition but I think it turned out really well.

I definitely agree with a lot of this. Veil really does need to figure out how to make CT the same every batch (MS I feel like the last 2 or 3 have been indistinguishable and great but next time, who knows?!). I agree TC makes more consistent beer in terms of batch to batch.

The Veil beers lately have been a lot more consistent in quality though, at least the ones I've had. It's been a while since I had a Veil brew that I thought was really "off" from the previous batch. But where I hear a lot of comments about how similar all Veil DIPAs taste, I get that way more with Triple Crossing - if there was a blind tasting of Interstellar, Grid, Ivory Tower, N&K and Battle Creek I bet I could maybe only pick out BC. I enjoyed all of those beers, and they use a pretty wide range of hops, but man they taste and feel incredibly similar to me.

It sounds like Never Forever sold out last night, no surprise with only 140-190 allotments, that beer is ridiculously good too.

Two out of four sold out on release night, I'm sure they are very happy. Those cans lasting all week was hurting the #hype.

PRBLMS will make it to tomorrow, and then sell out tomorrow (unless they drop to 1 per in which case it might make it until Friday). My guess, for fun.

Looks like what a standard 4 can release used to look like, in terms of sales.

Lower yield and higher limits obviously helped that this time. Personally I'm happy their production has gotten closer to meeting demand (I think most are?). I haven't been able to get there as much lately and I'm bummed I'm missing PRBLMS because it sounds like exactly what I want from a Veil TIPA. Still I'm happy to see plenty made it until Wednesday so I could've grabbed some if my schedule allowed.

Kendellson is a new 8.5% DIPA named after everyone's favorite icon of the sports. Hopped intensely with Australian Galaxy, Amarillo, and Citra. We also added a small amount of Virginia Wildflower Honey to the kettle.
Shooting for approx 95-110 cases. $16.75+tax/4-pack. 6x 4-packs/1x case per person.

Dirt Dirt Nap Nap is the double dry-hopped version of our 8.8% DIPA Dirt Nap. A crazy amount of Citra, Mosaic, Galaxy, and Nelson went into this double dry-hopped monster of a DIPA. Just straight up insanity!
Shooting for approx 170-190 cases. $19.50+tax/4-pack. 6x 4-packs/1x case per person.

redferrari is a slight riff on our luxuriously soft 8% DIPA whiteferrari. redferrari undergoes the same brewing process, same malt profile, and same hopping techniques as whiteferrari. The only difference between the two is whiteferrari is hopped 50/50 with Citra and Galaxy hops while redferrari is hopped 50/50 with Mosaic and Galaxy hops. Same incredibly soft mouthfeel and beautiful Galaxy character, this time complimented by the dank, bright stone fruit/tropical fruit characters from the Mosaic addition. This turned out to be an incredibly beautiful beer. We're very pleased with this one!
Shooting for approx 190-210 cases. $16.50+tax/4-pack. 6x 4-packs/1x case per person.

JC from Trillium is the next beer in our dedication/not collaboration series. This time we made a special beer for a special dude as an early birthday present for him. We met JC, Esther, and the whole Trillium Brewing Company family when we blindly invited them to our first Forever Summer Fest charity beer fest in August 2016. To our surprise they said yes and we quickly became family. We've had the complete honor of getting to know JC, his family, and team over the past year and a half. We got to brew some awesome beers together and spend time together at both of our facilities. To see where Trillium started 4.5 years ago, to where they are now leaves us speechless. The amazing vision and positive growth Trillium has gone through is truly impressive. The focus and calculation that goes into their beers/production is inspiring. We decided to make a beer in his honor and tried to nail a beer that he would be proud of and want to drink himself. We started with an 8.5% DIPA brewed with some of his favorite grains/malts. Then we hopped it intensely with some of his favorite recent hops:Galaxy, El Dorado, and Enigma. Then we of course hit with the classic Trillium double dry-hopped treatment. We're super pumped on how it turned out and we hope we did JC proud with this one. Happy birthday friend!
Shooting for approx 215-230 cases. $19+tax/4-pack. 6x 4-packs/1x case per person.

Bold move by me to postpone my trip from this weekend to Nov 3-5. With case counts that high and expensive beers something should last to friday. Case limit for each though.

Word is Kendellson and JC both sold out. Surprised if that's true on JC since it was the biggest anticipated yield.

I agree. I can't see any way that JC sold out yesterday. Maybe they threw a bunch of cases in the Reverie truck that was spotted on the way up to Portland for the takeover happening tomorrow and they decided to drop some off by Trillium along some other of their friends on the way up.

Update of what's left. Assume Kendellson sold out since there's no mention of it. Will post cooler pic if / when they do that.
