The IG pic makes it look like a shake may be released on OV day as well. So it may be apocalyptic. Lol...

Getting a growler filled of bba OV at the cafe last year took over an hour by itself. And that was after being on line for 3 plus hours for cans.

Without doing any sleuthing I feel like last year there was more of a heads up? I just remember planning on #chairlinelife further in advance. I still have all of last year's variants including the red wine. And yeah a friend of mine stayed after the release to get growlers of bb and he was there another two hours.

Everyone should avoid it, it is going to be awful....

Last year, there was a huge line before open, but because allotments were small it lasted a while. Bourbon void had a huge line, but ended lasting for weeks. Last years void day was awesome and I thought the red wine void was killer.

Awesome, no worries too. I've had properly filled growlers last 2 years. Still, drink up now it's time!

think i held my 2nd BBOV growler till around may or june... it was tasting great still back then

kind of hope this year if they have BA OV they could toss it into cans or something to avoid growlers of it and growler lines

I had mine earlier this summer and there was a strong dark fruit presence already. I think my wife was happy to have it out of the fridge finally.

Just barely missed out on RWOV last year, heard some pretty terrible reviews though and I see lots of it FS at cost from people who don't want it any more... personally I've been really impressed with every OV iteration I've had. Really love the bitterness of it, one of those stouts that really has its own character. BA was absolutely killer last year, especially.

Going to open mine at the end of the month, I like beers like Tart of Darkness and am hoping it ends up along those lines. I think a lot of people were just not really aware that they were getting a "soured" stout. Also it could just not be good.

If you like Tart of Darkness you will likely enjoy the RWOV as will. I do, and I did.

That said they didn't really do a good job last year informing people that RWOV had the Emptiness culture introduced into it. I feel like more people expected it to be like Double Barrel ANTEAD or something.

Darn it! Selling a Milkshake on the same day will make this an even bigger pain in the ass than last year. Only Void is fantastic but it doesn't bring the crowds or sell like a Milkshake IPA.

I'll see if it makes it behind the bar like it typically does but this probably won't.

Totally agree, definitely reminded me of Tart of Darkness, I guess some people didn’t realize that the emptiness culture usually refers to sour.

I am probably skipping cans and going for draft only and hoping that by the time I am ready to leave they still have beer left and the line goes away.

While typical OV releases don't bring as crazy of a line last year's OV day was kinda nuts.

The lack of an Eagles game will certainly not help the line situation. I think that was a factor in both the lack of attention for both Emptiness and Para.

I'm not gonna be out of the country for it this year. Super bummed!! I went later on in the day last year and it was awesome.
