More Brewing Co. (StB) - (2018)

Anybody have some inside info on when we can expect the next stout? I feel like waiting in a line and sharing some beers with people

 

A friend of a friend told me to keep the 21st open...

 

They tipped the last stout off with a brewing pic. Otherwise it was officially posted on a Monday for a Saturday release. So we may get less than a week’s notice (sorry no info here)

 

Hey, can’t make it to the henna batch 2 release on Saturday. Can someone grab one for me? Thanks!

Of course I can't make it, so I get to experience the fun of trying to trade for a bottle.

 

Can't wait for this shit show of a release.

 

Sweet just grabbed the first spot in line.

 

Just wait for them to put in on draft again.

 

Maybe one day I'll actually be in town for one of these releases so I can spend a few hours in line. Oh well.

 

Based on the current state of some of these releases, your post could be interpreted both as sarcastic and dead serious.

 

I've got to disagree. Clearly if I waited until the release was announced, I would NOT be first in line.

 

I took one look at the line at 10am at the last Henna release and realized "I'm never going to have a More stout".

 

It was easy to get on draft. I will never have a henna bottle, but I will always get to try henna. Double rainbow was delicious, so glad I got to try it and the two variants. I won't be here for this next release, but I am sure they will tap it randomly another time, same way they did with DR. If you love stouts, get in on draft. It's worth tasting.

 

Ideally, I would like a bottle to share with some friends, one of which moved out of town.

Is there actual babka in this beer? That would be like not putting donuts in Donut Break......

 

It’s the lesser of all babka.

 

I did the same. Got there around 10.30, and said to myself “I’m in my 30’s, what am I doing here” and left.

 

I didn't go. Instead I did the math, realized that based on the time=money equation it didn't really make sense to stand in line for 5 hours for 2 bottles of beer, saved myself the trip, and then was entertained for a good 2 hours during my kids' soccer game by reading the posts from all of the disgruntled people that were pissed that so many other people had the same idea to stand in line for beer with complete strangers in some random block in Villa Park on a Saturday morning as they did. I'll tell you, it made those soccer games go by that much quicker.

 

Cinnamon takes a backseat to no Babka!
