Varies, believe they have been anywhere from Monday to Thursday and not every week. Normally a few hours before they go on sale.

 

They have a couple cans leftover from the weekend atm...plus looks like we may be getting ddh citra daydream sometime this week

 

Brought a can of All Enigma to Cali, drinking it now (so fucking good) at ISO in San Jose and see they have an OH sticker behind bar, love that our home brewery travels afar. Some good stuff in the bay area too from Fieldwork and Track 7.

 

Go to Cellarmaker if you get the chance, it was their 4th anniversary last week so they put out some cool stuff. But yea Fieldwork is great, the wet hop beers the put out two weeks ago were great, especially Flower Rangers.

 

What makes you think that? Did you see cans?

Hello all, Might be heading to OH Sat. the 21st. Would not get there till around 4:30pm. Any info on what to expect, looking for cans and maybe growler fill. What do you think line would be like? think there would be cans left, thanks all.

 

No line at 4:30 but the tap room will probably be crowded. If the last few weeks are any indication there should be some cans left for you purchase. I feel confident in saying the double batch and stout will still be there.

 

last 2 times i was there around 4-6p on a Saturday and it gets crowded. expect to wait a few minutes to get pours, and most likely enjoy your drink while standing. Haven't gotten growlers so can't speak on that. I was there on the cream of spinach release and was able to get cans of everything except cream of spinach. 2 saturdays ago I was there and they had cans of AGE, Small Green, Zamboni, Oh.., and initially they had day dream in green, but it sold out before i decided to purchase cans.

What do people think the scene will look like at 5:30ish tomorrow? Last time I showed up around then for a mid-week release the line was around the corner, but I think they released tekus or something that day, so maybe that made a difference?

 

With advance notice I think there will be a bit of a line, but I would bet you can probably go around 6-7 or so and be in and out.

 

Yea weekday releases have never been crazy as far as I've seen. The people in line on weekends seem to be mostly NJ/Philly people who can't make it out during the day.

It's funny...a lot of craft beer mass-ditro IPA drinkers - or even "drink whatever beer is in front of them" people I have worked with who were upper levels always held a negative connotation to cans. Like they would take bottles of budlight at a party/bbq over cans of much better beer.

Apparently now you just need to tell them people wait in line for these like they're fucking furbies in the 90s and they'll drink them.

That whole scene is gross but totally predictable.
Luckily for me the Wall Street bros will be staying away from my Kolsch, brown ales and Cali commons.

 

What are the chances the Citra Daydream makes it to like 8ish tonight, cant get there until after work and wondering if its even worth it
