WKY and central KY stores got it a few weeks ago. Liquor city posted on Friday to FB that they got loons in in NKY.

I've had the two BA offerings from Mirror Twin that go on sale Sat morning (approx. 100 bottles of each @ $18, limit 1 of each per person), and they're good. The BBA Red tastes a lot like bourbon, and the BBA Maple Brown has maple flavor but not cloying sweetness, along with some more booze and barrel.

Show up early and hang out with us.

Mirror twins don't haze me bro is legit. On tap now at the brewery. One of the best New England ipas I've had in ky. A little light on flavor but goes down super easy.

Anyone know how often Louisville gets shipments of Bearded Iris and is it usually LBS who gets them?

I'd say once or twice a month, depending? Homestyle seems to be twice a month, while things like Scatterbrain are less frequent. When it gets in, it can usually be found most higher tier liquor stores like Liquor Barn and LBS, and I've also found it at Westport Whiskey and Wine and Whole Foods.

Thanks for the info! I've gotten homestyle a couple times but have not had any luck finding any recently.

Any word on how that W6/LB collab is drinking? Any of the lex LBs have bottles left?

Had it on tap at Hamburg last night, the nose is great, the flavor is very good, the feel is thin. Doesn't taste like 10%.

Check a larger LB, there may still be some left.

Just got an e-mail from AtG (all ticket holders I think got one). I'll paste below:

    Howdy!

Bo & Luke is almost upon us and we’re gonna blow the daisy dukes right off yer behind!

We want to first thank you for your interest and participation in our infamous beer release. So far we’ve raised a substantial amount of money for Squallis Puppeteers and that’s because of you. We can’t wait to see how much more we can raise at the release.

When you arrive Saturday, there will be an info booth in front of Copper & Kings. Feel free to stop there or move right along to the VIP area on the second floor of Copper & Kings because you’re bona fide!

VIP check in is located inside the distillery where you will receive your VIP bag and lanyard. Please wear your lanyard at all times. It’s the only way anyone will know just how lucky you are. The second floor is where you’ll have private access to Brewskey sales, 4-pack Bo & Luke sales, bar featuring Copper & Kings cocktails and AtG canned beer, lounge, restrooms, bottle check, and more! PLEASE DON'T GO TO THE 3RD FLOOR, THAT'S STRICTLY FOR OUR ATG FAMILY.

    IMPORTANT:

VIP cannot purchase 4-pack in the general sales lines. You must purchase your 4-pack in the VIP area.

VIP will also have access to purchase a surprise variant bottle that is extremely limited. No need to rush, unlike everyone else attending; yours will be patiently awaiting arrival. That way you can take your time and enjoy yourself!

Again, thank you so much. We can’t wait to see you get down like those good ole boys do!

    -Against the Grain Brewery

I bolded the interesting part. Now I'm even more giddy about Saturday getting here lol.

Meh.... extremely limited =/= good. Hope you have a good experience, I've given up on AtG personally.

The popular guess is that the variant is going to be Brandy BA, but I guess you never know with them. I've got a general pre-sale ticket, so I'll be missing anyway, but not sure that moves the needle enough for me to upgrade.

C&K Brandy, even. Would make sense. Maybe they're as good as Pretty Willie, but I'll let someone else find out.

Just stopped into mirror twin for a 'Set your hazers to stun'. Pretty similar experience to the Hazy but Lazy releases. Not bad but nothing to write home about. Reminds me of NEIPA that someone left in their fridge too long.

It just lacked flavor this time. Others thought it a tad bitter for the style, though I didn't pick up on that.

The ATG "secret" variant is similar to the other variants this year. Not brandy barrel or anything, but a different, rare kind of wood. ATG gonna announce it tomorrow at 2pm, so I won't say what kind of wood (for the sake of the people who let me know).

I can see what you mean (they have some pretty lackluster beers), but I find their stouts to be on point personally. Have you tried Willie's stout from their Stave it for Later series?
