Crap, I've been waiting here at the door since Monday and been in the wrong place? Now I'll probably only get one bottle...

I'd assume the tickets are for 2 bottles/person, and anybody without one just gets 1? Unless they have somebody handing out tickets all morning down the line.

Shaun and/or More comments on Facebook:
-Tickets will be handed out early. Tickets are mainly going to prevent cutting, but also help us determine and keep track of how many bottles to pass out. Cheers!
-When people get tickets, we will be checking IDs and recording names. Cheers! [IMG]
-are you passing out tickets as people show up? that would cut down on the line cutting as well - "yep"

Doesn't explicitly answer your question but to me that's the more important question (line cutting). And I think it sounds like no ticket, no beer

If someone wants to put hours and hours into waiting in line, they should probably get first crack at the tap room as well.

Disagree. If someone doesn’t want to spend hours and hours in line for a beer, but would like to have a glass on draft, it would be nice to pass up the 500 people that will not be getting a glass.

Wait, can you grab a ticket, leave, and then come back some time before 11?!?!

I assume they will be watching for this. And I'm sure people around you would call you out. I certainly wouldn't be happy if I saw that happen...

Double rainbow lasted into Sunday. If all you want is a pour, go later that afternoon/night.

So it's not enough to get there early? You have to earn your true beer stripes by getting there early AND standing in line uniterrupted for 5 hours? I'll never understand these unwritten rules.

Good thing I'll be at my daughter's soccer game hitting myself over the head with a hammer.

Predictions on variants, provided they exist? Maybe some sort of pepper heat? Coffee version?

Yeah, even though I advocated for them to go the ticketed/wristband route, I don't really understand why, once you have your ticket/wristband, you can't just go get breakfast or go nap in the car or do whatever you want. As long as you're back before the release (or, Hell, that day at some point), it really shouldn't matter. That said, I'm assuming they do it so people can't "abuse" it in such ways as getting up super early and staying just long enough to get their ticket/wristband (I put abuse in quotation marks because to me, it's not really abuse to do that).

I would also assume that handing tickets out, taking names and checking IDs will prevent double dipping. Meaning if a person comes super early, collects their bottles, they won't be able to just go to the back of the line and collect more.

I feel like it would only help to do it this way, not to mention how much it would clear up the sidewalks. The only reason not to is out of some weird sense of paying dues. You better suffer through a five hour wait if you want these whalez!

If it’s known to all beforehand when the tickets will be distributed and the allocation is uniform I don’t understand why you wouldn’t be able to do this.

I could be wrong, but I don’t think double-dipping has been frowned upon at both RAM and More for any of Shaun’s releases.

That's a good point. Borderline was encouraged back at Ram.

I don't think the allocation is uniform. Last release and at all the ones at RAM the first group got 2 bottles and the rest 1 until they ran out.

Yeah if anything they’re more mindful of it happening on draft (Henna release and Shaun’s last day at RAM party)
