Yeah, but you still have to type it in Everytime you order. I think the card on file only applies to Preservation since it's automatically recurring.

I believe that is correct. I noticed I had a card in my profile, but there’s no option to click and use it. Would make it that much easier to order... for better or worse lol

That's pretty cool... Good for when limited sale releases come out during meetings:wink:

Someday my students will discover that group project days correspond directly to beer sales. Luckily, Barrel Aged Beer Day was not that day.

I hope those screws are nearly as deep as the opener's width.

If you haven't used one, these are really damn solid openers. Prefer my WhaleSlayer personally, but these are damn good as well.

Nice, I bet those chew right through wax like butter.

My kitchen scissors are the kind with can opener grips built into the inside of the handle:

I find those opposing metal wedges are fantastic for cutting through wax (without messing up the actual scissor blades). Basically just close the handle around the bottle neck below the cap, squeeze so the wedges bite into the wax, and turn a few times. The wax cap pops right off with hardly any mess, and then a regular bottle opener gets the metal cap off per usual.

Yeah, I have a pair of scissors like that. But I still have trouble, haha.

Maybe I'm doing it wrong...I got one of those shark openers as a gift a few months ago; works great cutting through wax, works terribly when trying to actually open the bottle.

I currently use a razor knife. I strongly discourage attempting to open a waxed bottle while intoxicated since they're very sharp and unforgiving. Fortunately I did not learn that particular lesson the hard way.

Fantastic! 2018 hasnt started yet and I can already feel 3 pages worth of "fuck this bottle opener" commentary coming.

When I saw the post advertising another bottle opener included in the membership, I face-palmed. But hey maybe this one wont break after 1 use. And at least it isnt a pin/button. Maybe in 2019 we will get a bottle opener button/pin.

While I think the bottle opener is a cool idea, I'd rather just have a HS/RS shirt included instead.

Yall need to step your wax game up. A steak knife is all you need. Takes about 10 seconds.

The Bruery has dozens....DOZENS of pieces of glassware and you couldnt do this with proper glassware?

Also, thats a bullshit wax cut job if I ever saw one. Not even a single "shark tooth" mark in the wax?
