Id go as far as saying it was encouraged - He even issued a statement when a bunch of people complained essentially saying "I don't care that it happens and I don't see a problem with it"

Double dippers at a Henna took 2 risks: They didn’t know the variants would stay on draft as long as they did. In the RAM days, specials may kick in 30 minutes. Also, they eschewed drafts and got in line for more bottles without knowing how good it was or if they’d even get them. It worked out amazing in hindsight but it was no guarantee

It's because that's the primary objective of those who double dip - accumulate as much trade currency as possible. The secondary objective is to then have it on draft for the precious 'tick', mostly as it then frees up all of their bottles for flipping.

I will be curious to hear how this setup works. By assigning numbers and taking names, it should cut down on the line cutters and bring more order to the whole process. Sure, it's a bit more overhead for More if those people weren't originally scheduled, but, hopefully, it ends up being worthwhile on the PR front with happier customers.

It also requires people to have their mules in order early on which, I'm guessing, cuts down on that a bit. I can't imagine mom, sister, and granny are as likely to help Timmy out with his beer hobby at 7am as they might be at 10am when they can just walk up and join him in line.

Lol'ing hard over some of the convoluted scenarios y'all are coming up with -- I swear if everybody on this forum wasn't a drunk and put their heads together we could solve cold fusion.

Only if we can add adjuncts and barrel age.

Fair enough, but if this release will be the same in that regard then just give the first X people in line 2 tickets, or a different colored ticket, or whatever in order to distinguish them from the rest. Point is, given the ticketing there's no reason to continue waiting in line.

With this ticket system, I may show up early and grab a ticke, and come back later. I’ve got things to do, but if I don’t have to wait in line, I may show up.

I was going to say the same thing. Hopefully there is some clarification on this part.

I really enjoyed my cans of DDH Dusty and Strong Hand over the last few days. I feel like they improved compared to how they were at release (when I still liked both).

Can anyone describe how a bottle release affects general public admission at the brewery. Got a friend in town on tight schedule and want to stop for lunch and a few good beers close to opening time.

Well, they're doing one line for both the bottle release, and entrance to the restaurant. If you're looking to stop in for lunch, without waiting a long time, Saturday around opening definitely is not the day to go.

That's an important question. Because if it's like last time around 10AM, that won't prevent line cutting or anything really.

More replied to a question on their Facebook page asking of they will be handing out tickets as people arrive and they replied "Yes and we will also be checking Id's and recording names" as well, but never responded to the question of Once you got a ticket can you leave and pick up your bottle/s later on? I cant imagine if people start arriving at 4 am that there would be More employees there at that time.
