Hey, if it turns out they don't have any of them, let me know. I've got one that I'd send you

Bodega's tulip is my favorite glass at the moment. Ask to buy one if you make it there. Enjoy your weekend!

Bodega just tweeted that they are tapping Jackie O's Hop Ryot and Mandala IPA tonight during Happy Hour. No idea how long they will be there.....

I was told that Jamie sold From the Vine and that it's no longer there.

Hey, thanks I really appreciate that, hopefully they have some, but if not I may have to take you up on that. Cuvee des Jacobins, is my absolute favorite sour. Thanks again for all the input everyone, I am pumped!

Can anyone confirm this? I was there roughly a month ago, haven't been sooner because I had to save money for GABF... I actually almost drove out there on Monday, wouldn't been pissed if it wasn't there since I don't live close at all.

Confirmed. I was there yesterday and its now called Afficionado's. Spoke to the new owner and he was cool. Seemed more of a wine/cigar guy and newish to craft beer but he seemed very enthusiastic about the beer. Busy remodeling and putting in more cooler space. He insisted he'd be improving the place...more beer, cigars, tastings etc. Everything was still laid out as before and I got some good brews (b. nektar zombie killer, weyerbacher heresy, expedition stout).

Interested to see what he does with the place.

Rajah is a very good beer. I prefer Columbus IPA. When my Ohio connection drives out I always have them bring a few cases of Columbus IPA and a six or two of rajah. Wish I could buy Columbus every day. I really really like it. Super solid IPA.

    Enjoy

Damn well I hope Jaimie is doing well. Glad to hear the store isn't gone (or at least the selection at that location).

This. Hope all is well with her, she was always a very generous host and had a great selection, hopefully the new owner keeps up the beer part of it.

If you hurry in to Gentile's, they may still have a couple four-packs of Head Hunter. I picked some up yesterday.

If you're gonna have a little bit of time to shop around, I would recommend Whole Foods on Sawmill/161. They recently updated and now have 12 beers on tap. According to the Internet, two of those beers are FBS and Columbus IPA and then 10 other beers that I don't remember. They also increased their cooler space and have a walk in cooler, but I haven't had time to check it out yet. I gotta say though, I really love the idea of drinking a breakfast stout on tap while beer shopping.

Oh and they had speedway when I was there a couple weeks ago.

So I'm at WF now and they had a Columbus brewing event last night with 5 CBC taps. Two of those event taps being their coffee stout and super fresh h-o-p, which has hops from southern Ohio. Oh, they also do growler fills of all their beers, the special taps included.

Thats awesome! It unfortunately looks like I won't have any free time for beer until Monday afternoon/evening, but I will be staying out that way, so I'll definitely check WF out as well as Andersons. Thanks for the heads up, I hope some of it lasts till Monday, but I won't hold my breath.

One of my friends was there the other day (he still called it From The Vine, he had no idea about it being sold), but he talked to the people there and they said that they would be expanding their beer selection compared to what Jaimie had there before (more wine than beer). They were still in the process of remodeling the place. I figure that can't be a bad thing, as long as they get more craft beer there.

Hey guys! The sale officially took place about 2 weeks ago. It was a hard decision to make but I think it was a decision that was best for me. The 60-70 hr weeks for the past almost 11 years was really wearing on me. I just want to say THANK YOU to everyone for supporting the store over the years and for the wonderful reviews and comments and thank you to beeradvocate because if it wasn't for this site alot of you probably wouldn't have found me in my tucked away spot. Sorry "Nachos" for jacking your thread for minute. Hope to see you guys out and about! Cheers!! Jaimie....

You didn't hijack anything, sounds like you ran an awesome store, did a great job, and are a fantastic person. I've never met you and I've never been to your former shop, but I'm glad you did the best thing for you
