Hahaha, even with proper glassware there's people all over social media filling the glasses to the absolute brim, defeating the entire purpose.

Defeating the purpose? What is the purpose of glassware other than to hold liquid?

Im tingling with excitement just anxious for your pending post regarding olfaction and how shape/airspace in a glass has impact on enjoyment.

Id argue that if you aint filling the glass to the point of overflow, you are missing out. Fill that bitch up, take a sip and swirl her all around to your hearts content unti you knock all that co2 from solution and can dissect all the intricacies of how said beer was better at 45.6 degrees but really went downhill after it breached 48.

My name is Adam and ive had too much coffee today. I'll see myself out now.

On the topic of waxing.... many people got ticked off when they stopped waxing BT, but those same people get ticket off when they have difficulty getting through wax on other bottles. Damned if you do. Damned if you don't. P.S. If you really hate someone, but owe them a bottle of beer, on Wax You Own Bottle Day, do 10 layers of wax. Its a nightmare to get off (sorry Dustin).

I am 100% in support of doing away with waxing. Every time I go into the tasting room, I see the inverted TV screen with a Bruery employee waxing bottles and the look on his face makes it look like waxing is the shittiest assignment ever. I support abolishing bottle wax solely because of the sad look on that employees face.

I wish BT still had wax. Miss that on the new bottles for sure. Just doesn't look as elegant (IMO).

Sorry to detract from all of the wax talk, but has there been anything out regarding the BT Release party and how to get early access if you want to all of the SMM events? The last thing I've heard is:

*Reserve and Hoarders Society members who have attended all Society Member Monday events through 10/2/2017 (and have eight stamps in their member passport) will receive early entry for themselves and their guests. Ticket purchase required. All guests must checkin together. Those who qualify will receive confimation emails in advance of the event.

Not sure if they are going to reach out to us in the next few days. Just making sure there has not been anything else sent.

If you hear nothing, just roll up early with your stamps.

At this point, with 2 kids under 2, I'm not about the proper glassware life.. I'm about workhorses I can put into the dishwasher and not worry about the logo.

I ain't trying to add to my list of shit to do every night hand washing a ton of glasses.

@BruerJoel My friend attended all of the society member Mondays and received the BT pin but can't make it. He offered me his pin, would this get me in early or are these non transferable. Thanks in advance, looking forward to attending!

That's very kind of him! It's non-transferable, but, if I were you, I'd totally take his pin since he offered it.

does anyone know if they're still not allowing you to do regular pick ups during offshoot pickups?

Are you asking about Bruery or Bruery Terreux pickups at the same time? Yes they are allowing those

S/He must be confusing the Black Tuesday pickup policy.

You can always pickup your Bruery and Terreux bottles. You just have to give 24 hours notice. Offshoot you don't need notice so that's probably the confusion.

You might be in luck. From today's email, regarding 10/24 pours:

At our Tasting Room at The Bruery (open at noon), we’ll be pouring three taster flights (or one 5-oz. pour) of Mole Martes (So Happens It’s Tuesday Randall with cacao nibs, chiles, toasted pepitas and cinnamon), Chocolate Rain (2015) and Black Tuesday (2017).

At our Tasting Room at Bruery Terreux (open at 4:00 p.m.), we’ll be pouring three taster flights (or one 5-oz. pour) of Mocha Wednesday (2017), Grey Monday (2016), Grandma Knott's Tuesday and Vindictive.

that's right. it's 24 hours notice. for some reason I remembered is not pick up at all.

it's been so long since I've picked up anything. last time I tried to pick up my Bruery stuff during Offshoot it was a huge debacle

still think the 24 hour notice thing is lame

Hahahah, I'm trying to figure out what I'm supposed to do. I haven't bought anything in 9 months and then my society partner picked my last couple of orders up. I'm heading down there Monday to pick up cans and some of that Zesty shit.

    What do I do???
