I don’t see the resemblance either but the bottle does seem appealing to the eye.

No resemblance whatsoever but it's GI so no one cares really about what shit they put on their label or what shit beer they make that ends up on total wine shelves for eternity.

I remember someone (Maybe Lindsey) saying that they are taking a break from canning hoppy beers for awhile, but I guess you never know.

Not this time around; we’re catching our Distribution Team up with a big run of (714) cans alongside The Upside Down.

It’s a little early to call for certain, but we’re looking at another Covalent Bond (read: Bottle Logic + Buddies Canned Collaboration series) release toward the end of the year.

    Cheers!

We’ve slowed the pace down on canning in general (not just hoppy beers) during our massive Fundamental Observation rebrew-season. Too many tanks headed for barrels or being held for canning make for a skeletal chalkboard of offerings in the Tasting Room.

Howdy! Which festivities are you referring to?

The draft list at bottlelogic.com/on-draft-now is live and accurate for the Tasting Room in Anaheim, we'll add Mxyzptlk when we tap it at noon tomorrow!

If you're referring to Ye Scallywag Festival, I think they've already released their draft list. I generally try to stay away from announcing what we've sent to festivals in case they have really specific plans/VIP sections or hours/etc.

i think he just meant the bottle release festivities since you guys say the release day is the most "festive" day to come and pick up your bottles.

Damn good! Lines were light, and back bar was helping a ton. Pickup line was a breeze too. Tons on draft.

Having it right now...it’s really damn good stuff! It’s not too busy at all. Line goes to the bathroom and no line at all in satellite bar

Very interesting, quite complex . Sweet? Check.

The bark is fairly strong, which is more spice than cinnamon.

Every sip is spice forward, like a Mexican cake (but without heat) - then finishes sweet with the rum barrels.

Took me a few sips to figure out what I was actually tasting. It's a unique flavor and Overall - very enjoyable.

Curious how it tastes out of the bottle in comparison.

Anyone have similar or different opinions?

This 100%. The first few sips for the GF and I both were a bit of a trip. So much going on in the beer, wasn't sure what we were tasting. As it warmed up it got MUCH better. A little more cinnamon than my liking but the rum barrels worked magic with this beer. Outstanding offering from BL.

Bottle Logic continues to be the only brewery that I max out on month over month without hesitation. The stasis projects are always a home run and the gaming/nerdy theme just makes it so much better. Hoping we get some cool beers for Blizzcon :grinning:

So myz is not DAMN GOOD, but it is good. I had it up against gravity rush and i would take gravity rush. Granted, gravity rush had some time on it but with myz u get alot of the espresso in it. A lil sweet, prob from the rum barrels too. Id order it but not seek it out.

Glad I got my max and a couple extra due to me and GF's WoL allocation. Loved the beer, but I think it needs a little time. Other than that, it's much of what I expected. The nose was pretty intense and smelled like rubbing alcohol until it warmed a little.

Also love the fact that the notes on the label of the bottle are backwards. :grinning:
