Bringing homeless people is disgusting

You mean you didn't bribe one of Villa Parks local bums to stand in line with you??

 

I’ve honestly seen some people who fit this profile here

 

That has nothing to do with drinking the beer. It’s the secondary market that’s making this mess. Less people offering $200 a bottle and this problem goes away.

 

The lines for the port-o-potties are 20+ minutes....

 

Are they doing tickets for the toilet lines? I’d be pissed if I waited 12 mins for the pisser and then some line jumper got in front of me

 

having previously lived Lombard for a number of years; this made my morning

 

No offense to anyone here, but as someone who planned on going but was turned off because of 300 people in line before 7 I'd be laughing uncontrollably if they made it 1 per person due to the mule turnout.

 

There are certainly some, shall we say, less desirable here. Definitely not the typical beer crowd by Chicago measures.

 

Also, kind of funny to think that #500 probably won't get their bottle until about 1:30!

 

This is nuts....is any non barrel aged adjunct stout worth this?? Is anything in life worth this hype/turnout? Beer scene officially out of control IMO..... people seem to be losing sight of all the positives in the craft beer world and what the great folks in it bring.....its all mules now. Sad.

 

What I find more astonishing than the number of people in line is the number of people on here acting like they never saw this coming

 

I personally didn’t see the homeless option coming

 

Lots of mules here, lots. Four guys behind me are selling theirs to their friend who's "into beer" for $100.

 

Chances of showing up around 2pm and getting a pour?

 

How would anyone know this? They aren't even open yet.

 

Someone on here has to be a wordsmith. We need a noun and verb for “homeless mule/ing.”

 

More announced 300 Henna glasses. Looks nice too. I'm sure it'll be trading for VR.

 

I don’t know - if a person experiencing homelessness gets a couple hundred dollars from this experience, maybe that’s a good thing. Arbitrage shouldn’t just be for fat cat hedge funders taking specious positions with suckers’ cash!

Anyways, I just hope they have enough on draft for people to swing by and taste it. In the meantime, for those in line, I hope it tastes great! My morning had notes of “sleeping in, strong coffee, chocolate chip pancakes, and children’s laughter,” so I’m thankfully not FOMO’ing too hard.
