    Enjoying this cider-like beer right now.

    Sitting on the deck drinking my coffee this morning and watching the blackbirds (crows?) hunt. Suddenly a pair of bald eagles show up and hunt right in front of our cabin! Eventually one of them caught a fish and they disappeared.

    Having a St. Bernardus Abt 12.

    This beer compares good to Westvleteren 12 (XII). Some people even say it’s more or less the same beer.

    I definitely can recommend Isid'or. Originally it was a one time beer in 2009. Very well liked, that's why it is still in production.

    One of our best linebackers, he played his entire 13-year career for the Jets (only a couple of guys played for the Jets longer than Mo)... He's also the guy that put Brady at the helm of New England back in 2001 when he knocked Drew Bledsoe out of the game...

    First time with this. Absolutely blown away. Barrel aged for 18 months and comes in at 13%. Not a sound when I cracked the cap. No carbonation at all. It's going to take a while to describe the nose - so much there! Cheers!

    Caught this one recently . . .

    An unusual color that doesn't immediately bring descriptive words to mind. I tilted the glass at different angles looking for lighter shades at the edges and found a deep, deep ruddy brown that is striking in it's consistency throughout. Thick khaki cap and good lacing.

    Aromas of roasted malt with dark chocolate and cocoa powder with a molasses undertone.

    Taste is remarkably rich. The flavors repeat the scent notes with a coffee hit on entry that I missed in the aroma. A molasses like sweetness that quickly dries out mid palate leaving richness at the end. An ambitious brew that flexes it's muscles without trying to show off. Everything is just so well matched and working together in harmony you want to admire it as much as drink it.
