Ok, so I must've gotten a pour of the wrong thing when I was at the brewery, cuz this can of Flower Rangers is really good, whereas the draft I had was just decent. Piney deliciousness. So stupid to only get one can

I preferred Flower Rangers over Sploosh.

Opposite, with Invisible Touch for the win.

I haven't tried the cans yet, but I've been favoring beers with soft bitterness and more expressive yeast. From draft, I found both Sploosh and Invisible Touch to be a tad more bitter than I prefer to drink these days.

Fair enough. I'm on a bitterness kick, too many juice bombs lately.

Right there with you. Gravitating to Kern River, Beachwood, and El Segundo right now. Beer that tastes like beer!

Just returned to the northeast from a quick trip to the bay area. Brought out heady, focal, crusher, skadoosh and built to spill for some friends to try. They loved them all.
I went to Fieldworks on the last day of the trip. After trying all of their "ne" style ipa's and dipas I thought I was back in Vermont! I won't say fieldworks is bettter than the big guns of the northeast, but it is absolutely on par with many of them. Brought back a bunch to share with friends back home.

Yeah, went back to FW on Saturday as well after the EM and ST announcement. Just to good to pass up.... My wallet took a hit on Fri & Sat with back 2 back releases... But we were drinkin well during the 49er & Raider games on Sunday!!

Eastside Motel was fantastic. Saint Thomas was great to. They are just nailing it right now.

Sacramento still had Saint Thomas cans as of closing last night for anyone who still wants some. I went in there with a glimmer of hope after I left the Kings game that they would still have Sploosh or Flower Ranger cans but as I expected, none left.

I thought it was kind of weird how the Invisible Touch Pale Ale cans didn't get any mention on the FW social media pages. Not even a long winded description on the main website...lol... They only mention Amarillo and Equinox hops I guess when you release 5 different cans on a weekend, 1 can get lost in the mix.

I thought it was solid. Can art kind of reminded me of a place on Tatooine from Star Wars. Not quite Uncle Owen, but similar.

invisible touch was a surprise knockout as well, liked it better than the wet hop ipas

I really liked Invisible Touch on tap. Juicy, yet with a West Coast edge. In cans, it's very odd to me. It's like all bubblegum yeast and no hop flavor (only bitterness). Wouldn't have bought it if I knew it'd turn out this way :/

Flower Rangers with a week and change of rest turned into something sublimely magnificent. I had it a day after canning and thought it good but something about the rest brought things together in ways I couldn't have expected.

Another Can Release coming up this Thurs(Berk) and Friday (Sac, Napa, SM, Mont).

So far they have only mentioned GOSAIC. Mosaic hopped Gose.

Hopefully they post more info shortly.

    Also Orchard Street IPA.

Also possible they drop cans of Gosaic?

Opened a can of Pepe the Shark since I can't watch my Lakers while sober.

I won't attempt to describe it in detail, since I'm a bit sick, and don't trust my pallet. But I will say this beer is incredibly explosive. The aromatics and flavor are as potent as I've had from any Fieldwork beer. Probably more. Really, this is the first IPA I've had that required some serious discipline to keep from opening a second can.

Or maybe that's just the dopamine from having successfully debugged an absurdly obscure bug in the coding assignment I'm working on. Regardless, if Fieldwork has any cans left over, they're probably my first destination come tomorrow. This is a killer IPA. Any one on the verge of getting cans should head over to Fieldwork immediately. It's great.

pepe is indeed very good. overripe is tasting good as well, but definitely prefer the sharper flavors in pepe. another easy pick up in san mateo and quite pleased with these releases....wish they would get back to staggering them better though.
