I guess thats the problem with the world today(maybe even more so in America). No one backs up what they say, easy outs all the time. Say what you want to get some likes. With all the BS boycotting talk I am just fed up. No one knows what a boycott even means, just sounds cool.

I fully understand what the OP is saying and thats their right to do as they please.

When I boycott its 100%. Maybe it does no good at all since my tiny check has minimal power but to me its still money not going to a place I dont agree with.

If Lagunitas is doing wrong by the OP and they still purchase beer from them it is not a boycott and they are still supporting. Do they buy Heineken? other beers from the companies they own?

If you loved the beer from brewery X and the owner killed your dog I feel like there would be a response along the line of "well, they do make good beer at great prices but I wont be buying the pilsner or stout thats not so great"

I will stop my reply now as it is fully my opinion and no one seems to care.

As the world continues to erode I will still stand by my word and my values.

    It really does matter

    Enjoy

Found it yesterday and the smell is outstanding, and that's before I even pour it
Pretty hazy, your not going to be reading anything through the glass and it tastes as good as it smells.

These were Born on 10/16 I'm assuming that these were from the Chicago Brewery and I will get more...hopefully

Had some last night, so good. Prefer it over both field to ferments I’ve had this season

It might not be on the shelf yet, but it’s in the system, ask someone working and they will grab it for you

It seems like you're really good at boycotting apostrophes 100%.

Just picked up a six pack in Minneapolis, tasting mighty fine! My favorite fresh hopped beer of the year!

Very solid for price especially for UP. Hoping Citra is back in the blend next year.

After drinking three so far I would say I enjoyed last year's version better. But, in typical Lagunitas fashion, this beer is amazingly priced and is still a really nice, fresh hop brew. There is a garlicky/onion note to it that I dont' quite dig too much that I dont' remember being there last year. The drinkability is a bit down compared to prior offerings. Comparing this next to Fremont'
s Cowiche Canyon or field to ferment, it doesn't quite stack up if I'm being honest. I think last years would have taken the cake amonst the three. Still, its a very nice ipa and I'm really looking forward to the rest. The fresh hop burst is great and I love the hop showcase!

Great review and comment about the turbidity. Who the F cares? I'm sure Lagunitas was just psyched they don't have to spend a few extra days filtering the beer in bright tanks and can release it even faster, just to fulfill the Turbid beer craze going on right now. FWIW I do miss Citra in the beer and like last year's a bit better, but it's still amazing and a ridiculous price point like you already noted.

Looks like BY has hit the Hagerstown, MD area. Still no sightings in south central PA. Can't wait to try this years drop.

The beer was made a week ago and it's still not at my local stores. Who wants to buy/drink an IPA that's more than a week old, these days?:stuck_out_tongue:

And for those people who are only buying one six pack and then saying they're going to go out and buy some more, why are you starting with just one six pack?

I live in York and picked up a case on Friday. I've also seen it at 2 Weis markets. It's definitely in the area.

It's been a top 5 FH beer the past few years, and this year's is no different. Seems a lot of people are hung up on how hazy it appears or doesn't, as if the only way for it to be "good" is to be hazy. FH character is the primary factor for me in a FH beer, appearance is way down the list.
