    Coupla Tree House beers on deck...

    Starting off with this one...
    [IMG]

    Apparently conceived as the "Alter Ego" to Julius, featuring Mosaic and Amarillo hops...
    [IMG]
    Canned 10/17, this is a juicy New England-style brew loaded with citrus and tropical fruit impressions - you can taste the fleshy mango, bright orange, and their sugars, tightened with bitter grapefruit pith and the green skins of unripe fruits... Soft and smooth, moderately carbonated, moderately bitter, and mildly sweet... 6.8% abv... A great overall drinking experience...

    Coupla more nods for today...

    To the departed Carrie Fisher (October 21, 1956 – December 27, 2016)...

    An icon for my generation, now with the force...

    And Ken Watanabe, 58 today... Two movies specifically, Last Samurai and Letters from Iwo Jima, established him, in my eyes, as a great actor...

    It doesn't hurt, of course, that these were great films...

    Cheers, BA...

    This is the first day this season that I've just lounged around and watched college football. It's not bad.

    @jhartley,
    'The End Of Silence' is a remarkable musical statement and will remain high on my All-Time list (not to mention influential to my development during my teenage years). Although there will be many a naysayer, I think this album is every bit as intense and memorable as 'Damaged,' Henry's first LP with Black Flag.

    I cannot believe it has been over 25 years since it's release...timeless!

    Shiner Light Blonde doing exactly what a 99 calorie beer should, taking the edge off so I don't gulp a DIPA. Well, the old mustang needs a brake booster transplant, one of the few (non body) parts remaining. Prolly wait a few weeks until it cools off a little more. Happy Sat night![IMG]

    Out to dinner, 1/2 mile from home. Thin beer selection. Only chilled glasses. Drinking DIPA. Not going to name it because it's not thier fault. This thing is old. Hope the food makes up for it.

    Good afternoon, all! Pissing away this gorgeous day drinking beer and watching football. (I'll bet nobody else thought of this, did they?) Anyway, I picked up a single of Brew Kettle's Four C's the other day. Cascade, Centennial, Columbus, and Chinook. A little on the malty side, but the assertive bitterness is pretty nice.

    Cheers!
