Bingo...sorta the thinking. We’ll be more than likely packaging 16oz cans outta the brewpub...singles for oak/Brett/wilds, 4-packs for under 7 Abv. Always trying to keep a low price point.

Having a Dun Dun Dun from Hop Butcher right now...this is the best I've had from them since the glory days of Galaxy Bowl (batch 1).

Pineapple, peach, dry grass & faint cane sugar notes; soft, pillow-y mouthfeel. I was really disappointed in them for awhile there, but after a few steps back in the right direction this beer has them hitting their stride.

Side note: I tried to search this thread but failed; where are they brewing these days?

That's the one, I remember it came up in this thread but my memory & search skills couldn't quite get there.

Night Moth spotted around town. Drinking my last Dun Dun Dun - I like it more than the two versions of galaxy bowl I’ve had. Would buy again. Any thoughts on craniac?

I liked DDD better than Craniac but It was still pretty damn good. Not much Nelson beer going around right now so it's a nice treat. Gonna wait a week or so before I have another bc I think it will gel a little more.

They did another canning run and have cans available right now. Not sure on quantity.

Tried Overhaze last night and was pleasantly surprised. Liked it better than their Hazy Vale and several *previous* Midway ChiPA batches that I've tried. Lots of citrus/orange flavor, tad more bitterness than I prefer for the style, but it wasn't too bitter. Wish the pricing was a little lower and I'd buy it regularly.

and it's been said in here already, but 18th Street Dime is FIRE, only beer of theirs that I've had that justifies the price tag - still wish it were cheaper though

Crap, I bought Nickel b/c I could only thought 1 4 pack was prudent...Nickel is good, not great.

Have a can of Nickel that I have yet to try, but the Citra + Galaxy in Dime is so good.

Brought a few assorted four packs of chicago NEIPAs to my eloping/wedding in Mexico. Nerding out is paying off ten-fold. Got the green light through customs thankfully. For those of you wondering if you should travel internationally with fresh hops I thoroughly encourage it.

So...just had a can of Loosey Juicy. My first from Short Fuse; Schiller Park, represent!! (Note: I am in no way affiliated with Schiller Park)

The nose was great (orange citrus, dry grass & mild cane sugar); the mouthfeel was spot on (soft, pillow-y).

The taste was...close; orange citrus up front but there was a dry, bitter finish that was a bit off-putting for me. However, many on here prefer a more bitter finish on their New England's, and they may find this to be an excellent representation.

Clumsy naming situation aside, I'm at least curious to see future examples...

Anyone know where I can locate Nickel/Dime 4-packs or did I miss my chance? Out in the western burbs but could hit a bottle shop when in the city for Corridor on Tuesday for the party. Appreciate any tips!

Picked up Lagunita's Born Yesterday Pale Ale (unfiltered... don't know if there's a filtered version of this beer) and man, that's a good beer! It's not completely opaque in appearance like some of the more recent NE IPAs from Corridor or MoRE and the like, but it is hazy/cloudy and the aroma/taste is all juicy and tropical. Good mouthfeel and very easy to drink. Very happy to have picked up a 6 pack. May pick up another after this one is finished today.

Had Hubbard's Cave V7 tonight. Appearance was probably more opaque than regular orange juice. Very juicy and fruity sweet, good carbonation and a good mouthfeel, albeit a bit dry. This might be my favorite 'Fresh' series beer. The few that I've had prior to V7 were underwhelming and too malty based on appearance and what I expected out of the style (and I had those at the brewery). This V7 is quite good and I'm glad I picked it up.

The bottle format is not my most preferred (25oz bottle) but for 9.99, I can deal with it every once in a while.

Spent the weekend in LA. Showed up at Monkish at 1PM on Friday planning on hitting the tap room. There were already at least 200 people line up. Apparently they hadn't had a can release for a while so people just showed up hoping there will be one. At 1PM they announced a double can release of a triple ipa and pilsner via twitter. Took a full 2 hours to get through the line to be able to buy 2 4 packs of each beer. Then to get to the taproom there was another long line. The beer is pretty great but absolutely not worth that experience to get beer. Makes me appreciate the scene we have here with so many options and "mostly" no lines for ipas.
