They announced it today, but the fourth variant is Bo & Luke aged in an Amburana barrel. It took them about two years to get the barrel as it had to be made from scratch in the land the wood is native to (South America) and then shipped to the US. 12 barrels were shipped here, and ATG is the only brewery to get one (rest went to distilleries).

VIPs have a bottle reserved for them, but there are also limited bottles for regular ticket holders and non-ticket holders.

From my friend who works at ATG, he says it's the best variant this year, and tastes fantastic.

For future reference, they seem to answer Facebook Messenger faster than calling. I've tried in the past but now just stick to Facebook.

In other news, this year is drinking awesome.

Why does KY only allow nine crowlers per person?

Because no one really needs 10+ crowlers

I usually drink six or more 16 oz. cans in a night when I drink which equals three crowlers. I need more than nine. Nine would last me roughly a week and they don't produce beer fast enough for that. I'm guessing people go back the next day if they're available which is exactly what I'd be doing.

There's a law where breweries are limited to selling like 288 oz to a person per day.

Maybe next time you're at a brewery you can just ask to drink straight from the bright tanks

Mirror Twin update. Seems like they’re trying to solve their NEIPA flavor issues. They tapped mango haze today which is set your hazers they sat on mango I guess but you can’t taste it at all. Seems like they need to address the yeast.

They didn’t put it on any SM, luckily I was on Untappd this morning and saw it. Probably a limited supply if anyone had the notion

Is it just their NEIPAs that have had issues?

I've been a couple of times and every beer I've had has tasted a little odd, almost like rotten fruit. Even one of their guest tap beers tasted off.

Has anyone else noticed this? It may just be me (and my wife)...

I've went 3 times and haven't enjoyed any of their beer. I can't put my finger on it but they just haven't tasted "good" to my palette. Guest beers always seemed fine though.

I wasn't a big fan of Set your Hazers to Stun, but the Mango Haze was great, very similar to the Mango Fiona variant from this summer. The mango was an improvement on all fronts, and I was told by mgmt there was only a quarter barrel to begin with, so it won't be around long.

The Mexican Biscotti variants hit Old Town today, for the cool price of $41, limit one. It was one of those situations where I didn't think about the price until he told me, and then I was too committed to back out.

Not a big fan of theres. I have had 4-5 of their beers and have never enjoyed them. Not trying to be critical because I want good beer in Kentucky, but its just bland or not what was advertised. Hope they can figure it out, but rather just go to West Sixth, Country Boy or Ethereal and know I will have atleast one thing on tap I really, truly enjoy.

Maybe dude rang it up wrong, but the double barrel was $5 more for me. I shudder to think the price on that one at LBS.
