DC/MD/NoVA Beer Updates (2017)

Born yesterday due in to wholesaler on Monday, we should have Tuesday if all goes as planned.

They have some Singlecut DDH Is this real life? at Calvert Woodley. They had Backwoods Bastard and a few new J Wakefield cans, being sold as singles, as well.

 

Well, Bluejacket’s anniversary offerings are OK. Only 350 bottles of the anni stout w/a 3 bottle limit. All in all just ok with their BA stouts. They’re too thin and just a high ok for me.

 

The bottles are only about a quarter gone three hours in, and most were sold in the first hour. This should last a few days. I'm in the tasting room in my laptop if anyone is swinging by soon.

I've been beer hunting, and I haven't seen anything yet!

 

I heard it hits Tuesday (tomorrow).

Wegmans in Sterling/Dulles has Born Yesterday, maybe 4 cases left unless there is more in the back or were still bringing some in off the truck. $11.99 per sixer

I picked up mine at Dominion today at $12.99 a 6-pk.

 

Max's is Baltimore is supposedly doing a Voodoo tasting tonight, but there's no info on their website and their facebook doesn't list any details or bottles. Anyone know what's going on?

 

Not sure where to post that but has anybody heard who the guest SC brewery is for the Ocelot Halloween party? Last year they had the Veil.

 

My guess would be Charles Towne Fermentory.

 

That would be swell. Birds Fly South would be another good one.

 

Any backwoods sightings in DC? D'vines only got 1 case and is already sold out.
