I picked up some in Raleigh yesterday and it was good but I thought the last two years have been much better. As for any turbidity, I could see straight through it..

Goddamn that Lagunitas beer finder got me again. Just yesterday it started showing all the spots around me having BY, and since I saw a place in the county (but far enough away that I don't feel like making the drive) got it on their instagram, I thought maybe the beer finder results were legit. Went to the closest shop, and of course, no BY.

It's popping and disappearing here in the Midwest. May have a lead on some tomorrow. Hoping I can take some of this delicious nectar home.

Drinking this right now and it's a damn fine beer, but last year's was better IMO. This year's is very dry, not a lot of sweetness in the finish, I remember there being a touch more sweetness in the finish last year which I liked. Overall I give this a solid 4.5 out of 5, whereas last year's I felt was easily 4.9-5.0

Hope you guys still looking for some find a few packs!

Bought the last 6pack at my bottle shop. Drinking one now while watching the World Series and IMO last year was way better. Still good but last year was Fire! Maybe i like last year choice of hops better or something i do like my Citra hops.

I enjoyed the last few years but nervous about the onion/garlic taste, as while I don't mind those when actually eating them, in beer those flavors can turn me off because of how they work with the other flavors and my palate is one of those that those flavors will dominate.

I checked Norfolk TW today... earliest they might get it is Wednesday. But not set in stone.

It seems to have swept the KC area of Missouri. Some places were already out of it at the beginning of this week, and others just got their allotment on Friday. I managed to pick up two sixers, and left the remaining for some other lucky beer drinkers.

This is why living in rural central PA can be good. The distributor by me got a case on 10/19 and I called them on 10/25 and they still had all 4 six packs left. I bought 2 on. 10/25 and I bet the other 2 are still there lol.

Still none in Philly that I can see. Might as well relabel the SEPA bottles "Born Last Month".

I hear what you are saying. Given these circumstances Born Yesterday will be a "No" for me this year. Maybe I will say "Yes" next year?

    Cheers!

Can't say this year's is really a good value to my palate. Not as explosively aromatic overall as last year, and more importantly marred by onion/garlic replacing much of the fruit and fresh-cut plant notes. Last year may have also offered slightly better malt balance. Strictly for my own preferences, there's no shortage of more widely available, slightly cheaper IPAs I would choose over this.

i agree with the consensus that this years is not as good as the previous 2 years, but i think its still the best hoppy beer available on the shelf. ill probably only go through 1 case this year as opposed to 2+ last year.

I was really disappointed with it. I hate the onion taste

I bought a sixer today at the local Jewel Grocery store. $10.49 per as all Lagunitas products were .50 off...

I love it! Great nose, tons of citrus (no onion) and silky mouth. I'm going to go buy another 6 pack.
