Groups of good friends tend to coalesce in a reasonably organic fashion, rather than based on formal voting. If people are into the Hop Heads thing, cool for them, but it's a stretch to consider it similar to just getting together with good friends.

 

They're actually releasing a pale ale today, curious how long it lasts since its only 5.6%, new money needs the abv higher to pay the rent.

I don't think it's a red pale ale. Should be their standard malts and yeast, nothing says different.

 

yea if it ain't DIPA or TIPA it should last for some time. I went to the last RELEASE, holy shit. LINES were stupid long.

 

Only 40 people in line as of 10 minutes before opening.

 

And if anyone ever thought that the majority of people at can releases actually drank that beer.

You’re right. I read RED HOP thinking it was a red hoppy pale. Which, when I think about it a red pale doesn’t really make sense.

10 minutes to park, get my cans and get back to my car.
I'm not one of those assholes that parks in the neighboring parking lot so I had a bit of a walk. Even after all the warnings, there are still people that park in that lot.

Bless you sir, my good friend owns Total Corporate Solutions right next door and is absolutely fed up with the idiots and their behavior that park there on can releases. About a year ago we were having dinner and he said, you wont believe this but every week hundreds of kids are lining up next door at all hours of the day,and we just found out they're lining up for beer, can you believe it, I just laughed before I explained to him the ways of the new money haze bros.

I would say there were multiples factors that made this release last today, all just a perfect storm. Not a DIPA/TIPA, the possible end of the World Series (spoiler alert, going to game 7 now), and Halloween (a lot of the people in these lines typically are parents who drag their kids along, this time their kids dragged them along somewhere lol).
