I think there are a number of factors at play, the biggest of which is probably (as has been mentioned) the plethora of great local beer available in most regions, with everyone getting in on the hazy sticker cans.

I can tell you first hand that Tired Hands (even the non-milkshakes) still trade pretty much like they always have. I think the supply/demand is just spread out more now. I'm curious, are the other breweries that always saw long lines like Other Half, Tree House, Veil, etc seeing the same thing?

I think part of it is also saturation/exhaustion. I know I've cut back on trading just because it takes so much damn time and effort and I think a lot of people are tiring of the grind of it all.

I opened a Pumpkin Spice shake last night and the difference was night and day compared to the taste I had on OV day. Amazing what 2-3 weeks in the can does for the shakes. Never fails.

Tell me about it. I had a Lemon Meringue milkshake last night and it was incredible.

I feel like this "phase" in craft beer's relatively young history is going to have to go the way of the Dodo eventually...hopefully the sooner the better.

I have enjoyed parts of it - have met some really cool people through trading and lines and all that, and the "exclusivity" these new hazy beers has reminded me, at times, of the hunt for craft beer in the late nineties/early 00s when it was truly a rare thing.

But boy is it exhausting, and it attracts so many creeps. I'd love breweries like TH to just stabilize, release easy to get beers every week, no lines, just show up, have some beers, and buy some to go...ez pz.

Personally, I’m glad that the best beers Tired Hands makes are their wood-fermented saisons and that, for the most part, I can just go to the general store and buy them whenever I want.

It does seem like the market for the Tired Hands cans (excluding milkshakes) has stabilized a bit. It is nice that they are lasting a bit longer now.

I actually think it really fell off quickly, total sugar syrup and astringent hop juice right now. I dumped most of my can last night.

Yeah, I'm gonna call BS on a sub-2 week window of drinkability on these.
