Screw that. My young kids are running around after dark unsupervised eating razor blades from the creepy 50 year old in the white van that says "Free Candy" on the side, like we did when we were young.

Perfect for me...if I can actually get myself to leave the house socially on a weeknight. I can't blame having kids, just age.

Can’t wait to buy a growler of a Triple IPA and then realize there’s no good night of the week to attack that

Anyone make it in for Fade2Haze tonight? I missed the OG version but was excited to see galaxy in this one. I see crowlers in my future this Saturday

Really hope there is no expectation of costumes at this thing. Going to fail if so...

The adultification of Halloween is a recent thing... used to be just kids doing this and their begrudging parents forced to decorate. Not against it. Think it's fun. For kids.
A brewery/brewpub should be a safe space for people over 25 seeking adult company. ;P

Made it over at 530 for Nightmare on Haze Street. Bar area was pretty crowded so I grabbed a couple crowlers to go ($14 each). Probably won’t be able to get them cold enough for tonight but the Untappd reviews have been pretty encouraging early on

Just cracked mine 30 minutes ago. Best beer they have made, in my opinion. A little boozy bite but no way can you tell its 9%. Nice mango aftertaste. I think it's still a little green but tasting awesome. This should be at its peak in a few days/a week.

Nice work @dubo09 in waiting to release this until it was ready. It's a killer!

Sounds awesome and can't wait to stop in this evening. Do you recall if fade 2 haze was still on tap as well.

    Cheers

Fade2Haze is still on tap. Nightmare on Haze Street is definitely the best hazy beer they've put out. Dangerously smooth at 9%.

I love how different everyone's palates are. I just stopped by and had a Nightmare and I had to struggle to finish 16 ounces.

I don't doubt that it's a phenomenal beer to some, but for me, it was in their bottom 2 or 3.

I haven't had it and doubt I'll be a big fan due to the 9% abv, but can you elaborate on what you didn't like about it?

I was working there for a few hours this afternoon, so I'm sure we were there at the same time. I enjoyed Nightmare but its not in their top tier for me (Squeezit OG, CJB). But it's just a notch below. The alcohol is completely hidden, like some of the FR higher ABV options, which is nice. And its extremely juicy. But its lacking a bit of the bite I prefer in those above. But I thoroughly enjoyed it.

My take: very drinkable for a triple and I liked it even though I have a bias against triple IPA’s. Super smooth, great nose, pretty darn sweet. I recently re-ranked my Corridor beers and moved CJB above Squeeze It. This is more in the Van Haven class for me which is still complimentary

There was zero bite and it was overly sweet. I realize triple's lean sweeter, but it was too sweet for me. It reminded me a lot of an Other Half TIPA, without any bite. I love me some OH, but their triple's are usually their worst offerings, to me. So that could be a compliment to some.

TBH, I haven't had a NE-style triple that didn't hide the alcohol well. I had Dragonsaddle twice recently and thought that was much more drinkable. I wasn't in love with Toro, but I preferred it to Nightmare.

Again, different strokes for different folks. I do understand why others really like it.

I'm not digging this batch. It's missing something, maybe a more well rounded tropical fruit flavor...I put the OG F2H up there with OG VH as my favorite, unparalled Corridor beers....

I consider you the low abv hazy IPA expert, so this carries weight with me.

He’s right. Never had it before so no basis for comparison. Even knowing it’s a pale ale, I expected more flavors to pop. Even the Galaxy didn’t totally jump out like it did for CJB. Perfectly good beer to crush but just not up to the lofty standard I have for my Corridor beers
