    @BruerJoel
I'm assuming the choice of club will be an annual decision? I like both bal-aged beers and sours but I thought hard about going the bal-aged option and buying my sours. PBJ BT won me over this year but who knows in the future. Great customer service move.

Thanks! Yes, you'll have the option to make changes each year.

To whoever can answer, in Patrick's blog/email there was note of being notified what beers would see national distro, is this going to be definite and updated per release? I only ask because it makes more sense for me to wait an order a case of X beer through work then to spend the money on boxes/shipping (Fedex is getting greedy) and deal with a trustee, or make the drive next year to DC on a regular basis. Obviously this will only apply to some beers, but if I can save dropping money on the first week of the month to secure a few choice beers by waiting until they're available in distro, that helps me considerably. Obviously you won't know total volume but if indeed a beer is coming to GA, like a couple of the Frucht series have, that would be awesome.

Good question - thanks for asking! If a beer is planned for distribution, we'll call it out in our member communications and in the product listing.

How backed up is shipping right now? I ordered 2 boxes to be shipped up to me in NorCal early morning on the 30th and haven't heard a thing to date??

As a first time RS for 2018, I'm immediately understanding why people complain about non-exclusive beers being included. Archive release for the normal RS is Humulus Terreaux (why would you age this anyways) and 17 M3...both of these are available off the shelf from multiple stores near me in VA and DC.

I get the feeling You Asked for It/CR etc are going to be plentiful enough for anyone to grab some, but the setup of being directed towards less desirable stuff as a chunk of your included beers, well I guess I'll have to get used to this

They have them left because they charge a premium for vintages.

I get irked when we are limited for some beers only to be offered similar allocations for popular beers later thoughout the year but at a higher price. Obviously wasn’t short supply, but simply wanting to offer beer later to have fun with it, and of course the surcharge doesn’t hurt them.

If the beer doesn’t seem to sell- or numbers are high for bottles they toss it public, as standard fare. They know what beers are or will become popular and leverage it based on limits to sell more later.

Good to hear. I’m not getting email notices as of late so, happy to hear hoarders will get notified for it all! Upgraded this year as well.

It gets pretty bad around the BT release.

I don't think it's really a greed thing like that. It's probably more that their ever increasing RS/HS simply didn't buy it all up. I can't remember the last time I bought the limit on anything besides something that was a limit of 1 or 2, and that was very, very few beers.

Did "you know what time it is" just sell out in the last 30 minutes? Coincidentally, my buddy just asked me yesterday for one of two bottles that I have. Perfect timing if I get the chance to replace it. But, it's not showing up as available in my allocations. @BruerJoel

I'm the 27th and still waiting. I emailed them and Matthew P got back to me within an hour. Said I'm in the queue and would be shipped by EOW, so we'll see.

Does anyone have an idea as to what the 32 oz growler option could be this year? I seem to recall there was a Hydroflask type option recently as well as a brown swing top growler a while ago

"• An oak-aged sour blonde collaboration project brewed with Beachwood Blendery, The Good Beer Company, Highland Park Brewery, Modern Times Beer, Monkish Brewing Co. and Phantom Carriage"

1 different brewery with each right? Not like stone's collabs with 3 total breweries collaborating on 1 beer?

You are correct, one brewery per collaboration.

@BruerJoel I notice in the allocation email that allocations are available now - no mention of one week waiting period like typical Society Mondays. Is this accurate, and will this now always be the case, or will it be decided on a release by release basis?

Nice catch! That was intentional and accurate. We're making shifts for this to be the norm, though there may be a release from time-to-time that doesn't cooperate ;-)

Anyone else intrigued by “chocolate thunder” listed under The Bruery only RS option?
