    Kane Brewing: http://www.kanebrewing.com/

Address: 1750 Bloomsbury Ave, Ocean Township, NJ 07712
We are located behind the Ocean Plaza Shopping Center off Route 35.

Tap Room Hours: Thursday: 5 pm to 8 pm, Friday: 5 pm to 8 pm, Saturday: 12 pm to 7 pm, Sunday: 12 pm to 5 pm

Tours: Tours of the brewery are given at 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Guided tours last approximately 15-20 minutes. Self-guided tours are continuously available during our Tour and Tasting hours. No charge

They DO NOT allow any tour buses, limousines, party groups, bachelor or bachelorette parties, etc. in the brewery for tours and tastings. We have limited space and do not have the staff to handle large unexpected groups even with a prior reservation.

Current Tap List: Facebook is updated before retail hours with current Tap List. Year round beers includes Head High, Overhead and Single Finn.

Growler Fills: Beer prices vary depending on style but range from $7-$20+. The cost of the growler is an additional $10 for one-liter, and $12 for two-liter. Yes, Kane fills growlers from other breweries as long as it has a government warning, labeled volume, and a Kane Brewing Co. sticker can be applied for regulatory compliance.

Can and Bottles Sales: Limited release 750ml bottles for sale at the brewery as well as cans. Check Facebook (must have Facebook account), Twitter, or Instagram for up to date list. Solitude, our 9.2% Belgian-style dark strong ale, will now be available at the brewery in 750ml bottles on an (almost) year-round basis.

They offer a few varieties of their beer to be purchased in sixtel (5.2 gallon kegs). In addition to the cost of the beer, there is a $30 cash deposit required for the keg that will be refunded upon its return.

I reconsidered my decision to totally eliminate the monthly thread to one permanent thread after reading all the positive posts and private messages (thank you). However, I will try using two month periods, for now. The downside is that I am unable to edit the first post and information that needs to be updated (or added) cannot be changed until the next thread (in two months).

    From the last post:

So there has been DDH Sneakbox and DIPA sneakbox. Countdown until DDH DIPA Sneakbox, and just full blown other half DDH DIPA Sneakbox brewed with a bunch of oats and lactose?

    .....cause that would be amazing

And a new thread is good, last one got long with how busy October was. But I look forward to the intellectual debate that will take up 2 pages.

I prefer monthly threads. 2 month threads doesn't even make sense.

I would think if you're to do 2 months, might as well do seasonal. But honestly, I don't care either way, I don't even know why I'm writing....

    Keep up the good work....

Here for the new thread! Kane is good.

As per the discussion that was going on in the last thread before it was abruptly closed, I'd rather a one off new beer every few weeks rather than another permanent beer (albeit a good one). And if they were to go with another full time beer, I'd take Mosaic Punch over Party Wave myself

Piggy backing off my post in last months, I do remember Glenn saying that (at the time) Party Wave was the only sticker can that had been done multiple times (think it still may be) and it should be obvious they really like that beer. Holding hope for it to be a regular can still! Wonder what color it would be.. for some reason I keep coming back to Purple

Yeah - He mentioned there were a lot of complications to bringing a can into full rotation including space requirements at the brewery to find room for it among the other towering stacks of cans! Also the last time they released it, it sold out fairly quickly, but not as crazy as with previous times.

Yeah there is an absurd amount of HH,OH, Sneak, & Blank cans already at the brewery and with the new equipment they brought in last week space is getting limited

True, but they also have that building across the back lot. My hope is someday the entire block is a Kane campus.

Yeah, they have some stuff over there now, I believe Glenn's workshop resides over there as well too. I guess it would be a hassle to haul cans from there into the brewery area to can.

Would be cool to have an entire Kane block. I think the Fish Direct place is supposed to be leaving this fall and Kane is taking that portion of the building as well

Yeah that space is spoken for, plus with the mess I make over there it's not the best place to store cans. We just got more space, but also not convenient for cans...

anyone else recently cracked a 2017 BBA Morning Bell?

Just cracked mine today and the coffee is super muted, tbh I can't really tell whether or not it is much different from the Evening Bell I cracked in September. I mean it's still good, but Morning Bell is one of my favorite beers and the beer that turned me onto craft beer, so I was really excited to try BBA MB, but kinda feeling let down right now.

Still have my second bottle of it. First one I thought the coffee came through but not the crazy coffee bomb that MB is. In my opinion it kind of evolved into a beautiful chocolaty creamy delight
