I enjoyed Tremendous Ideas. I know that yeast can make a huge difference but isn't this ACE the perfect opportunity for everyone to really examine that? Anyone got a can of the last batch of ACE around for a side by side?

Yes but remember it's pronounced "newk-you-lur"

Micky D's is good when you're in line drinking before 9 in the morning.

Anyone know if the Cloudwater collabs will be double batches? Or will everything be gone by 1?

Is anybody else jealous that Syracuse is getting cans? I'm just gonna go ahead and say that it doesn't make me feel good. When cans run out this weekend, I will blame Syracuse. That we're only getting two cans this weekend, I blame Syracuse. I know it's a business and money blah blah blah, and I love sharing my Other Half with friends and family. But I want to share my cans on MY terms!

That said I hope everyone upstate enjoys a relatively easy and accessible release tomorrow.

No because they have to live in Syracuse.

i think it's pretty cool that OH is doing it. I mean 2 of the 3 beers being released up there were recently released at OH and met with "it tastes different, no haze!" so maybe they're tweaking recipes on these beers and testing them out in a market that hasn't previously been exposed to the beers?

I will say that that area....i am sure they'll love a bunch of people lined up early in the AM and drinking.

This is very tempting, I liked Smoke Screens but not enough to buy a whole 4pk. But I already have a boatload of Imperial Stouts already. Think I have every single Imperial Stout bottle that Grimm has released this year still plus Berries, Twigs, and Creamies. Dunno when I'm going to drink any of these.

not sure ill buy those, i thought the oil and smokescreens with vanilla was garbage on nitro at the BT event.

Why is nitro a thing - I’ve never liked it but feels especially AOL these days

The bottle conditioned SSOS with Vanilla is tasting real nice I would say and I'm not much of a stout guy.

Very smooth and clean. No alcohol heat for being 11.5%.

I mean I actually like nitro stouts/porters. It'd be akin to an IPA brewed with a ton of lactose/oats just a different mouthfeel. And I prefer the more chocolate-y/coffee notes accompanied by a smooth mouthfeel than tropical fruits.

Haha, yes intellectually I understand the folly of the sentiment. There is a tribal instinct though I wanted to acknowledge and am even surprised myself I felt it however fleeting #trueconfessions y'all.

Isn't this supposed to be a safe space!?

Anyone at the release? Guessing it’s a chill one. Hope to get some UK ACE to represent my home country later
