Sure, but I do have a friend in Cleveland who has gotten it. So he must have driven across the border into PA and been able to find it.

k bud. If you consider it "easy" to travel on Thanksgiving weekend (lmfao), and also find it easy to avoid family obligations during that time, just to buy a few bottles of BA stout, hats off to you. I've found it much more convenient to just order them online from the wackiest BCBS dumping sites in the US, like Arizona.

Now that Ohio has opened up this past year, you may just find it a little more difficult to obtain BCBS in DC, Nevada, and NYC<--such convenient shopping proximity to the Great Lakes region. :hugging: Our perennial absence on that distribution map might just turn out to have been kind of a big deal.

Your idea of easy is really special, but if it tickles you so, please do keep telling this Ohioan "easy" ways in which I can get BCBS outside of Ohio, now that our ABV law has been lifted. In the meantime, I'll just walk 3 minutes down the block to get some for the first time ever in our state. :beers::poop:

I drove from Detroit to Chicago on Thanksgiving once. Think I saw about 10 cars in 5 hours!

If I looked closer, I probably would have seen the I <3 craft beer on every rear window.

Yeah, it is pretty easy to travel on Thanksgiving weekend actually. I do it every other year. I'm not sure what world you live in. I don't know many people with Saturday or Sunday obligations either. Plenty of people make the trek to Marcey Street for the biggest release in the country.

Sounds like you're making traveling that weekend a universal problem when it's more of a personal problem. I almost feel sorry for ya.

I have known very few people in my life who have their entire family in the city in which they reside. For all of them, myself included, thanksgiving is a 3-4 day affair when you include travel both ways. The only times it has not been is when we had work obligations.

I don't think it is an unreasonable assumption. For these very reasons I have never been able to personally buy a bottle.

Also...every time I travel on thanksgiving it sucks dick. It (from wed-Sunday) is considered one of the worst travel periods each year.

    Finally, a nugget of wisdom.

Cheers bud, have some dinner with that salt, and maybe a beer too!

Beer nerd forums. The only place in the world you can see men discussing yeast infections.

What is your % of posts where you're arguing with others? Just wondering. You spend half your time on here writing multi paragraph essays per post being annoying and argumentative. It must be your thing arguing with people online.

So, in your world, it's preferable if 100% of every BA stood by and let ignoramuses spread lies and talk condescending know-it-all bullshit to undeserving BAs without challenge? Noted.

I think the point is there is a way to coexist. Just like in a relationship (with your boss, your coworkers, your family, your spouse) you pick and choose your battles. In that, there is a way to argue that something is true vs nottrue while being relatively dispassionate.

Frequently your arguments come off as so emotional and long-winded that I think it just invites trolls to poke you, never mind the people that (actually) might disagree.

So, numero uno is don't challenge everything. Why would you want to, anyway? Isn't that stressful constantly posting about someone or something being wrong?

Numero dos: you can respond without trying to be aggressive, even if someone already is. For example, Above I said that Tday weekend is always a cluster fuck for traveling. In my head I said, "What tucking world are you living in that you've never seen the countless fucking reports about Tday being a clusterfuck travel day." - But that was unnecessary. It was fine to just say that it is universally purported as being one of the worst travel set of travel days each year.

Super jelly. So...how does it taste?

EDIT: The beer and hot sauce, but mostly the beer.

The hot sauce has a TON of kick. Full disclosure: I'm a sissy about this stuff.

The beer is balanced; you taste blueberry, some booze & a hint of almond....but I think the almond cuts the sweetness more than anything. Very nice.

Also, 10am isn't usually a drinking time for me, so I'm a bit out of my element.
