Pretty safe bet that the bottling date is 10/16/17, I don't think there are other bottling dates but if so, they would be more recent that 10/16. The date should be in black ink on the bottle neck and on the case carton.

There is absolutely a normal date stamped on the neck of the bottle. As others mentioned, it should all be the same 10/16/2017 date.

Found the date, finally. I looked all over the bottle in the store, then again at home after I drank one. I looked again after I saw these replies and still couldn't find it until I held the bottle in front of a light.

Finally got to try this years. Very good, no great. A little more bitter, drier and less juicy than previous years, but still very good, not spectacular like last year.

14>16>17 and a long way back to 15.

Frist off we are talking about "beer". I think most people as a whole consider the term boycott as a loose term when speaking of 'beer". People may not like the actions of a company or the products as a whole and avoid buying them, but they still may have 1 item they consider good and will buy. We are speaking of 'beer" not some political or social item. You are raging about some extreme, you are either 100% or shut up is sort of what I take from you. Well, I would be the first to wager your not so 100% across the board either. Anyway, seems like you came to pounce on people and we are speaking about 'beer" not world politics or social injustice. Also, you don't have to post or read peoples views if they are not to your liking, you can just not post and focus on other things. Everyone is entitled to their opinions you seem to want them to conform to yours.
Anyway, back to beer, just had to post my thoughts because it seems a little harsh.
    Cheers

My only beef is PA got this way late and in super small quantity. Bought some in jersey November 1, bottled 10/16. Finally on November 2 my guy here in PA said he had one sixer for me.

the wholesaler that distributes it in my area got it October 20

starting delivering Monday the following week

I was able to grab it Tuesday and got another later in the week on Friday...both places I got from seemed to have minimal amounts as far as I could tell

Is it just me or do others wonder why all BYs were bottled 10/16? Is that possible or just "marketing"? Seems like the last 2 years there were several dates. Don't misconstrue where I'm coming from - love this beer and probably will buy yet another sixer

Living in rural PA can be good sometimes. My local store got a case of BY about 3 days after it was bottled and it was still there a week after they got it in (according to the owner). I bought 2 sixers of it - would have gotten it sooner, but figured a place that small wouldn't have gotten any BY. Went back yesterday and the other 2 sixers are still on the shelf.

Not sure exactly where you're located, and I won't argue the point about quantity, but I bought a case of it within 1 week of it being bottled in the Harrisburg area.

Had some more this evening after a 2-3 week break.

Aroma fading fast. Still has a general burst of citrus hops flavor on a very dry and light feeling palate. I would call this thirst quenching to my senses.

Overall, now its more in line with the regular core IPAs that we see sitting on the shelves. So it has lost its luster faster than I remember in years past.

I'd certainly continue to pay lesser prices on this. But for $11/six, the luxury seasonal tag isnt worth the substance.

I know the beer is "old" at this point, but last week I finally got around to doing a side-by-side with the bottled versions from Petaluma vs Chicago.

The Chicago version on the right was notably hazier, and the flavor, aroma, bitterness, and mouthfeel aligned more closely with that of a NE IPA. The Petaluma version was decidedly more west coast. Both were awesome beers, even 2 months out!
