That's the speculation. I'm sure there will be a few folks lined up at Kane tomorrow before open...just in case.

Grabbed a growler of Imperial Sneakbox today and drinking it now. I don’t know if it’s just me or what but Kane’s IPAs have been better than ever lately. I’ve always enjoyed the HHs and OHs but when really craving a juice bomb I used to drive up to Other Half or further. With these last few releases not only is Kane living up to the best stuff from them, they are surpassing them imho.

OH and HH are both very different styles from the typical juice bomb IPAs that have gain popularity the last few years. So this makes sense.

I will say, that a few of my sticker cans from Kane have been really good, though wave tank fell on its' face really hard. meanwhile I am still enjoying almost 2 month old Other half release that are perfectly fine. I missed out on some of the better Kane releases (mosaic punch), and I thought across the Galaxy was just not good. But with that said I am hesitant to say I rather drive to hour to Kane than the 50 minutes to other half.

Unless i want to re-up head high and sneakbox. Sneakbox is insanely good and a HH is generally a mainstay in my fridge. Or a Kane Dark beer. I think Kane and carton are the places to go for just a consistently good beer.

I've been getting twin elephant, conclave, and troon hard during my home brewing today so it's perfectly acceptable that I had a typo.

I see what you did there

I just had my first Kane beer - SneakBox - for the first time this week and I was blown away. Unfortunately it's not easy to get a hold of the stuff, but they sometimes have it on tap at Roger Wilco in Pennsauken. Today I had a similar beer from a brewery that's much closer to me but I was disappointed with it.

It's pretty easy to get a hold of at the brewery. But if you're far away from NJ, I can see the difficulty. Sneakbox is low key the best APA in NJ (though if twin elephant always had lil' shimmy ye cans available...).

Not only is if delicious, it holds up very well. I've had 6+ week old cans that tasted damned good.

Imperial Sneakbox is way too big, sweet and hop saturated for me. You all will probably go nuts for it. Something about A Space To Fill makes it much easier to drink - a more dry finish perhaps

It's def different from a HH or Overhead.. Space is much more in the style of Overhead where Sneaks always been a bit for funky and the double version hyped that up and gives it a sweetness.

I've been comparing Imperial Sneak to OHs All Citra Everything, which is one of my favs from them. Very similar beers and I think I like Imperial Sneak better than ACE and it's less $

I don't know. I just don't like the one off cans. Whether Kane or other half or any other place. By the time I am through one 16 oz can they are too sweet or too high in alcohol flavor or the adjunct shows too much or whatever. With few exceptions I have just always been disappointed. I just didn't like a space to fill or galaxy or imperial sneakbox. Would take HH OH or SB over all of them. And I think I know why. The beers aren't "dialed in." And when you add in the extra cost, I just don't want them. I certainly wouldn't stand in line for them. Something like sneakbox started in a test phase as hop lab citra, for many batches, until it was ready for prime time. Overhead and head high were in development before the brewery opened. This is why they are so drinkable. These new beers just aren't worth the time or money to me. Of course, this is what is selling, so obviously I am in the minority here, and that is fine.

But the best part is you don't have to choose. You can pretty much ALWAYS get SB, HH, or OH and it's not like they're doing sticker cans at the expense of those more dialed in beers. We get the best of both worlds

I think stating the beers aren't "dialed in" or "ready" is short sighted. I think it can be true for some breweries when they release stuff and it might not be right yet, but I wouldn't say that about anything Kane has released in a can thus far. I don't think Mike would release a beer if it was where he wanted it to be. Sure the flagships have been around forever now and they are brewed so often that anything they might have wanted to tweak with it was done, but I don't think anything put into cans by Kane wasn't exactly where they wanted it to be.

Obviously you don't like some of the beers released in those cans, but everyone has different tastes and that's well and fine. HH, OH and Sneak are all great beers and beers I will consistently drink, but I have enjoyed almost every single can they have released as one offs or multiple times in sticker cans. I think you would see some of these sticker cans as a regular can if it wasn't as hard to go through with creating a new can, storing it and brewing the beer (party wave), theres a reason its popped up more than once. Mike said early on the sticker cans were a way to get more beer to more people, it was just easier to put them in that than can just 1 more beer as a regular and rotate new beers only on tap for fills and pours.

Edited for me being a terrible speller lol

This might seem like a strange request but does someone have some photos of Kane that they would be willing to share to let me use for my blog post? I visited the brewery on Thursday last week and on a train ride into the city from Newark after returning my car I lost my camera. I left it in a bag that showed up later without a camera. I ended up taking photos of other breweries in NY on my phone so all I lost was the photos from Kane but I don't want Kane to be the one post that doesn't have any photos. Photos from something other than a phone would be preferred but if nobody has those to share then anything from a recent smartphone is appreciated. Specifically, a photo of some tasters of Mexican Brunch and some of their hazy DIPAs would be great.

If you can't get anyone to give you any shots off a camera let me know, I can grab some off my phone of some of those beers and I have some random pics of the brewery too
