If Marzpandemonium is half as good as the marizipan black tuesday one off served at the 2016 anniversary party I might order all of them. I drank a bunch of that and barely remember leaving the party because that was so good. I would love some tasting notes from anyone going to SMM.

@BruerJoel the HS coming soon list has "Yount" - is this the same beer as Perata which appears to have disappeared after being in the list a month or two ago?

I remember one of the 2018 membership teasers (can't remember if i saw it on the website or not), saying something in the realm of bottles included are Chocolate rain ("and perhaps chocolate thunder") - so makes me think it's going to be some play on Chocolate Rain? Either way, I'm for sure intrigued.

+1.... If that almond flavoring is over the top, I will have to pass on this one.

I must be lost, did we really only have access to "You Know What Time it is" for two days? I can't seem to find any other mention of it this year.

Correct! It was the Hoarders "Vindictive" release before that.

We put some on sale this past Friday for National Sandwich Day. It was previously available throughout nearly all of August.

Yes, I was wondering if this was an included bottle only like PB & Jelly Thursday and Black & Blue BBLs..

Hoping its not, since I'm going with the 50//50 RS option.

It'll be available via allocations to all three Reserve Society groups in 2018

Totally agree. Why Wait for Wednesday is one of the best beers I've had from The Bruery in a while. Dialed in vinous notes, fresh fruit, and dangerously crushable given the ABV.

@PMR @BruerJoel Did I understand correctly that WWFW was aged in Harlan Estate oak? If so, BALLER.

So, tried the Marzipandemonium tonight, and overall I think it's solid; I'll probably get a bottle or two to age. I came into this without any real expectations, as I have no idea what Marzipan is. At serving temperature, I really wasn't a fan: almond and general nuttiness was overwhelming the aroma in a very strong way. But as it warmed up, I really started enjoying it. Very smooth blend of nut flavor and chocolate/caramel sweetness; aroma remains very almond forward, but it mellows into a more pleasant experience at warmer temperatures. I'd say it was roughly comparable in quality to some of the nut BT variants.

I went tonight and thought the BA 9 Ladies was an improvement over the non-BA version. Marzipandemonium was quite good, but like almost all of the Tuesday themed stouts, a bit thin for me. Port BT was outstanding. 2017 Hoarders Cuvee was eerily lemon meringue like, in the best way. Vindictive was good, but more wine than beer in my opinion.

I got tons of cherries. Almost chocolate covered cherries. On the nose and taste.
