I racked to secondary and accidentally pushed oxygen through the siphon, resulting in a large "gulp" sound. How worried should I be? It's an accident like this that makes me reconsider if secondary fermentation is worth it at all.

So...you were doing an open transfer, which lets O2 in anyway. I would probably not be overly worried about an air bubble.

I don't think that the beer taste will deteriorate from oxidation very quickly, so if the beer isn't meant to be aged, drink it fairly quickly and you likely won't notice any issues.

What kind of beer is this?

As others have said, not very much. Especially if you're planning to drink this beer quickly. If you were worried about oxidation you could purge your secondary vessel with CO2 (or other inert gas) and/or do closed transfers.

Although this may seem pedantic, this process isn't a secondary fermentation. It's simply racking to a secondary fermenter for conditioning and, possibly, aging. I

Thanks for the quick replies everyone. I am planning on drinking this porter within a month after kegging, which will be happening this Saturday. I had another home brewing friend tell me that he's had this happen before and it's nothing to worry about, but we shall see.
