I stopped in here a few weeks back after dinner at the Maple Tree and loved it. Lots of great beer and good service.

Are they making you buy other Bell's beers when you try to buy Black Note?

 

Binny's St. Charles had a fair amount of 2017 Darkness last night if anyone is interested.

 

Nope I was in and out with just a 4 pack

 

I was wrong, $18 a bottle. That's more like it.

 

Ram Brewery and Eatery - Schaumburg

 

The Plank Road brunch looks like it is already sold out. Not surprising as it is a small place and they do an amazing job with this event.

 

I'm hoping this will last on tap once the events ends...ultimately, I'm hoping to just have good timing and stop at Binnys the right day.

 

Bourbon County tapping at O'Tooles Libertyville 11-24-17. No details as to time or variants.

 

There's a CBS event scheduled on the 30th at Thyme in Peoria.....if Peoria is getting a keg of this, I would suspect that Chicago will be flush with this stuff....

 

Plank Road is closing for the day for the employee holiday party right after brunch ends.

I was there two years ago when CBS was the unannounced surprise. That was a bunch of happy people when we realized there was a keg to go around for only about thirty people at a ticketed event.

 

Last call is at 3pm that day as they are closing right after the brunch for their employee holiday party. I was thinking the same as you though for a second.

 

That was great. I stopped by right after the ticketed event ended and the place was still pretty empty.

 

Could be worth a shot to try to be there at Open on Sunday 12/11 just in case any makes it through the party

 

Luckily I got tickets to the brunch this year. Event is on a Sunday though, so maybe they might have some Monday at open. Probably won't be many people lining up on a weekday.

 

Anybody still looking for Black Note in the west burbs, Malloys Lisle has it.. can buy a 4 pack too

 

Abraxas-anyone ever have luck getting it in the Western Burbs? Any idea when it will be here?
