No distro for Benthic only for Orin.

 

I can't recall...too much beer drank since then! I know it was pretty early, but don't recall just how early.

Do you have a source telling you that, or basing it off last year? IIRC, there was no Orin in distro last year, but this year it did - seems like they made a lot more. I'm also assuming there is a decent amount more Benthic, based on the 3 pp limit.

I still doubt that they have any saved for distro, but I would have been surprised if they've flat out said they won't distribute it. My guess is that if there is some leftover, they would distribute. Of course, there won't be any left over based on the style of beer that it is.

So if it's 3pp and they have 145 cases and 12 bottles fit in a case ... how many pours will i have at the taproom to drown my sorrows after arriving too late?

 

580 allotments if people take the max. Granted, not all will for the $$ reasons mentioned earlier. But I'm still surprised the limit is as high as 3 given that case count

I have decided to make the plunge and go for this one again this year. Took a half day for the morning on Friday, so I'll probably get there a bit early so I can be out of line and back working at a decent time.

 

Limit 3 still seems too high unless they want to sell out by 3pm, probably even earlier

 

I will be shocked if anyone buys less than 3 ... even people who don't love the price will buy the max because they know they'd be able to find something to do with the extra(s) ... trade, sell, gift, etc

 

You think we're going to see any bottling of the cinnamon toast crunch/double coconut/cappucino/double barrel/etc.?

Had a bunch (so much) of a few of those at Big North 2.

 

I wonder how long it's going to take them to rifle through 580 people with one register in 30-degree weather.

 

I will buy less than 3 if given the chance. I don't really trade, don't sell, don't know any one who would want it as a gift, and have been burned enough by these releases that I like the knowledge that an "extra" person is getting one.

I was one of the first 30 or so (arrived around 8:30-9), and I still didn’t leave until after 12pm.

Crowded releases at HA take forever. It’s one POS and that’s it.
