Just a hunch...Black Friday cake release

 

No tickets, just line up after thanksgiving festivities for a real kick in the ass right?

 

Just curious, when Pappy cake was released last was it in a set or a one off?

 

2015 one off

 

I believe it was bottled at the same time as the 2015 BA Cake set, but was only released in the taproom for on-site consumption and to WB employees. They have never offered bottles of Pappy Cake to go.

 

It was essentially in-house only, it wasn’t included in the 2015 set. Employees got bottles and possibly a few released at the tap room silently (IIRC).

 

That's what I thought I remembered but was a little hazy on the details. Appreciate it!

I knew Port and Apple Brandy were two of the variants this year. Don't remember if there was another one besides the regular. I asked one of the employees recently and he told me but I was a few beers in and forgot

 

Scotch has already been mentioned here and that's what I recall as well from being in a similar state.

 

Scotch!!! That was it.

 

Heard some rumblings that they may push back to Dec release... but that could just be misdirection. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
