Respectfully, you are insane if you think OH is better than Trillium.

Good morning all- can someone provide the 7am line update? Is it too late to get beer? Much appreciated and stay warm.

Sounds like a full block wrap around (and prob more by now) and wristband situation from the Instagram comments

I'm trying to put this in context of the potato release, and If memory serves this doesn't seem as extreme. My memory was that it was passed McDonald's by ~6ish last time. Also, lower limits should mean the line could be longer and people still get beers, correct?

I think in terms of numbers that one was crazier. In context of 20 degree temps, lower limits etc, this one (to me at least) is crazier

Oh totally agree. I'm still debating on pulling the trigger. I'm 20 minutes away and the idea of putting on 5 layers to go out there and wait for 3+ hours seems totally daunting

The weather stations says it feels like 16 degrees outside now. Drinking drops your body temperature, has anyone frozen over yet?

I'm in the same boat. You probably get beer but will be in the elements at least until 11am.

I know this is a cliched question that gets asked all the time, but you'd have to think that OH will try and open up early with this weather...right??

I will bite. Two of my favorite breweries. If OH homers and Trillium homers were to do battle, this would be a fierce debate. For IPAs, IMHO, Other Half worst case is at least at same level as Trillium, I think Other Half has surpassed Trillium in last year or so. OH has made some spectacular beers in year or so past, not to mention all the really good ones.

Monitor the thread, if there seems like there will be beer left roll over there with no line. Otherwise, don't worry, there will be more beer next week. Come Monday people will forget about these beers (unless they developed frost bite) and it will be on to the next thing. The fact that people would line-up for beer for 12+ hours in extreme cold is pretty disturbing.

Hopefully not, if people are stupid enough to wait in line, stick to your normal hours. Although if I was OH management, I would be a bit embarrassed ( and worried about complicity in this when bad things happen) about the monster that has been created.

Drove by at 7:20 on my way into work. Line was wrapped around and nearing to cross over Centre and onto McDee's sidewalk. I'd say by now it most definitely has. Seemed like lots of people under dressed for this weather... Looked like the OH employees were just walking in with their coffees. Im glad I'm at work.

Anyone have a line update? I’m assuming the weather is keeping it from being potatoes level crazy.

I think the majority that disagree with you don't look at the OH thread, hence the silence. Other Half is great, and I like how they've grown and evolved (aside from the horrid lines), but I just can't put them on the same level at Trillium. Trill has probably 6 hoppy beers in the regular rotation which OH has to have a special week to approach, and they put out tons of it. If you said they have surpassed Treehouse I would agree, those beers are now a shadow of themselves since opening the new production facility.
