Pale wheat ale is one of my favorite styles and this is one of the better ones, up there with Gumballhead and sumpin sumpin.

7.99 a six? I have not seen any of Bells beers at anywhere near that price here in Ohio.

Good beer and a mini keg might actually be worth it with this one

Good beer, always look forward to drinking it once in awhile. One of the beers I really liked when I only drank BMC and especially during MI summers. Maybe get a mini-keg this year..

The store that I frequent has it at that price every year, but they have the rock bottom lowest prices in metro Detroit...$13.99 for Hopslam and Expedition Stout and $8.99 for Two Hearted, for example.

Sorry but many of Bell's beers are damn fine beer, but to ME this is NOT one of them. If I want a wheat beer, I like BM best. Sure I love a good fresh Belgian wit, but they cost to much.

I'm a big fan and am really hoping we get it in cans here this summer.

For me, Oberon seems to be getting less exciting each year, most likely due to the fact that heavy, dark, and hoppy beers are what I crave.

I will say that an Oberon mini keg makes a great option if you're grilling out with a few friends in the warm weather. I can't think of a situation where Oberon would be better.

One of my favorite spring/summer beers. I do find it a tad inconsistent though.

I enjoy it. Not the best of its style but still solid.

Agreed! This is the only Bell's beer I've had that doesn't sit well with me. If I want a Pale Wheat Ale, I'm definitely going Gumballhead.

Wtf!?!? I had one from last year's batch like 3 months ago and it was nasty!!! Bell's doesn't brew it year round
( see http://www.bellsbeer.com/brands/availability1/ ) so how is that possible? I was just at an incredible bottle shop in FL and despite having some K-Zoo Stout and a couple others, certainly no Oberon.
