So that is $80 worth of stuff for $208. Who are the morons participating in this?

And if the breweries really cared, they would delete the idiotic ISO comments on their Instagram posts.

Ah damnit. Wrong tag. My bad.

Was alluding to @RobNewton's post earlier about Cuse people coming down in droves

Oh haha I remember I made a comment about those in line racing up to Hudson Valley after OH.

Do you think they're going to put Triangle Test up for fills tomorrow?

Given what people are willing to pay for beers in NY that I think are not as well made as OH, Grimm and Single Cut for example that sell for no less than $7 a can in the stores, I'm not surprised OH trades at $8-$10 a can in the secondary market. What I'm shocked at is someone is willing to pay $40 or more for a Teku glass. I'm certain the beer must taste better in it. Probably why The Alchemist prefers you to "Drink from Can".

i skipped the release and picked up the new lagunitas born yesterday and greenpoint pursue righteousness from tjs and whole foods for a total of $30. too much good beer even in local stores. no need to participate in the shit show.

I would gladly pay $32 for a mixed 4 pack of OH delivered to my door, (once in a while), not to deal with the hassle. Plus the added bonus of 4 types of beer without the $80 investment.

I've never done it, but I get it.....

Definitely. My buddy paid $30 for one of each. Gets to try all, not drive an hour each way and stand in the freezing cold. Sounds pretty amazing

Confession: that's probably what I'm gonna do with this release.

shit, the store i go to new my office (bread & honey) has the greenpoint for $23. How is born yesterday? Lagunitas is by far my favorite "mass produced" craft brewery, just haven't had that one yet.

This years is really good, not great like 14 or 16, but ease of acquisition and price it's a great buy.

Whole Foods WB had the green point for $16.99 and TJ's had Born Yesterday for $11.99. I would have killed it at supermarket sweep.

Born Yesterday is good definitely does not compare to OH/Trill but I'd be interested in seeing how those breweries would approach producing a beer at that scale It's great for the price and the fact it was at TJ's. I wish I could describe it like some of the advocates on this site I'd do a lousy job. has a more oily hop feel. The sixer was kept on the shelf and I think it's like 3 weeks old so I'm not expecting much.

I also agree that '16 was better and juicer. More NE style.

Wasn’t a shit show, though. Super smooth and easy to get all the beers in like 30 minutes. But I get it. You MUST whine about every single thing.

Definitely not whining. Wish I could have gone just had a bunch of other plans. I already praised other half in a previous post. I'm pretty happy that the limits were lowered. Everyone was happy with this release. Limited Edition Swag was available for the mules. People could just roll up and grab cans. The beers were on tap the night before. I just meant shit show like people still waited 8 hours in sub 25 degree weather. But I get it, everything has to be confrontational online.
