Cycle/ccb bottle releases

Did anyone hit Cycle this morning? If yes how was the crowd compared to other weekday releases?

 

Walked up at 8:10. The place was empty.

 

I got there just before 7:45. Easy parking in front of the bank, and when I rounded the corner, the line was only half way down the buildings. Only 2-3 more people showed up after I did. I was out of there by 8:05, and when I drove by, there was no one in line.

Good to hear, my plan is to pick up today and tomorrow's bottles on Wednesday then Thursdays on Friday.

 

I'm guessing a lot of people will be doing that this week, based on today's turnout.

I'm always afraid that the one day I do that will be the day everyone shows up. Or the day they announce a surprise release. It's irrational, but it gets me out of bed every morning at 5:45 AM, only to get home with fresh beer and get back in bed around 8:55 AM.

 

Flippers have moved on to AC now..makes it nice for us that actually want to DRINK Cycle Beer and can't get there at the crack of dawn every day

 

But you can thank the flippers for inflated pricing!

I guess to be fair I don't know how Cycle's margins are and they have probably adjusted for market forces, but can't help but think the flippers, mules, etc have contributed to the market forces.

 

Eventually, I can see Cycle distro'ing these BA stouts. There has to come a time that we have all simply had our fill and don't need every bottle that they release. I'd say they might just start doing single bottle releases more often but the rate at which they fill barrels leads me to believe that will not be the case.

 

I live in Sarasota, so that drive it too much for me to do 5 days in a row. I'm hoping none sell out this week and I'm able to grab them all!

Ya I'd love a smaller amount of bottles released at one time vs 5 bottles across 5 days.

 

&+ was a $20 bottle three years ago... I doubt it costs $10 a bottle more. Maybe 5

 

Probably be closer to these prices again once they go into distro early next year.

Same as yesterday.

 

Line was super chill. Tomorrow and the next day will be bigger I think but I don't think any day this week they'll sell out in line.

 

So which one are we all excited about this week? Need some expert advice here.
