I dont follow it, I just checked it out since people were commenting on their social media presence and I gave my opinion on what I saw. Sorry if it came across as too harsh. How about this:

They are certainly very active on twitter with a lot of nice shots of their collab beer and posts of people appreciating the stuff they made. It's also nice to see when they're sampling and their label art looks great, with professional looking branded glassware as well. All that nice stuff seems to get lost in posts of things not pertaining to the brewery, and it doesnt help that the links in their description dont work.

I appreciate the clarification. I can tell you Dino and crew are about family/friends, good times, and great beer. If you get to meet them you’ll get it. Cheers!

I appreciate your enthusiasm but you're starting to sound like someone from a not-very-creative marketing team. Speaking only for myself, that sort of sentence is more of a turn off than a turn on.

I’m so over this brewery and they aren’t even open yet.

    1. Thread was started by some looking for their beer / more info so you're first point is completely false.
    2. The fact that you admit being a "fan boy" proves you are delusional.
    3. This brewery is 100% mismanaging their social media.

I understand you're butthurt people are being critical of your "friends" but it's reality.

nice. saw someone post about the first time they went to Tree House three years ago to the day so went back through my posts to see when mine was. saw dinosvino had liked one of my first posts (about Dean pulling out the first can of Julius ever from inside his coat and chugging it in front of us, which served as the availability announcement that day) and wondered if it was him.

based on that like I can say this Dino fellow has fantastic taste and this place will be huge.

I hear that Vitamin Sea doesn't even use water from the ocean in their brewing process, nor does it contain any actual vitamins but is distilled water with minerals added. This is very misleading and they should be ashamed to use such a sub-par water source in their beers. Coca-Cola wouldn't even use their water for a $1 bottle of Vitamin Water.

So do I have this right:

    1) No customer has ever had a sip of their beer
    2) their name has the same marketing effect as the Chiahuahua Taco Bell commercials
    3) Their first ever beer is a collaboration with a solid, established brewery
    4) they have an Instagram account that has seemingly made about 100 posts teasing this release (and other possibly someday available beers) for what feels like months
    5) there’s four pages of discussion about them in this forum
    6) I want to try their beer

If so it seems like they are crushing both the forthcoming brewery and social media game but I am not a doctor

Because of @MatthewGrapeHead and his love of this brewery, but otherwise overall doucheness, I have decided to not give a shit about this brewery anymore.

    1. I've had their beer. If you reach out to them they'll do their best to let you try some. I had the Due North IPA and it was quite good. They've also poured at several beer fests.
    2. I don't get everyone's hate on their name, but that seems to be the cool thing to do right now...
    3. They've done several collaborations now, I believe two of them (maybe just one) were with Barrel House Z

They're definitely doing a good job drumming up hype.

To the name thing...to be honest

Treehouse, is a pretty crummy name for a brewery IMO. If you called a brewery this in 1998 people would laugh at you. Hell, treehouses are for kids. Plus all I can think of is that skeezy Treehouse building guy on the tv show. Every time he tries to make love to a tree I shuddered the two times I watched it.

At least VS has a nice surf tone to it and is in line with the area.

Some say we should judge others on the company they keep. If this thread is to be believed, Vitamin Sea does not keep good company. This leaves me much less excited to try their beer and I now have no intention of putting forth any effort to find it. I wish them well, however, with the full realization that where my dollars go has zero impact on their likelihood of success.

Wait..... I don't get it. VSB has had several canning runs (with awesome label art) and none of it has been released to the public?

Why even make social media posts about the canning runs then?
