They do, on a limited basis. I've picked up things like Resin and Sweet Action but we normally don't get the "good stuff." (I know, I know it all good, but you know what I mean) But since this said its being distributed to their entire network I figure that includes Chicago.

 

This hit multiple stores in Los Angeles yesterday. More today.

Got my cans today... Job well done!! Love this beer. Completely nailed that balance, reminds me a lot of KBS which is I love for that reason... Barrel is there with that oaky/vanilla note, yet the coffee and chocolate and roast balances it out. Not overly sweet, nor bitter. Def plan to pick up more, this is fantastic. People who can't pick up the barrel notes are crazy.

Poured an aggressive head, though! Lol

 

We even dialed back the carbonation, but yes, the head is still prominent because the beer has a ton of texture and oils in there from the cacao and Guatemalan Finca El Injerto cold brewed coffee. It lets the beer have a fuller feel without being syrupy or thick.

 

For those who have tried it, I am curious if the "Barrel presence" you are getting is oak/vanilla or the Bourbon. Everyone seems to definite it differently.

Also, @Sixpoint are barrels reused for this beer?

 

nope, all of the barrels for this beer were freshly drained of the bourbon by our supplier partner and shipped immediately to Sixpoint....the only liquid that was ever in these barrels was bourbon and then 3Beans

 

Was the Bourbon for me.

 

@Sixpoint you don't happen to be sending any of this out to France44 or somewhere similar do you? I'd love to get my fix up in Alaska. ;-)

 

No scheduled shipments out to Alaska....closest is probably some out to Oregon!

Its in our wholesaler's warehouse already; if you don't see it on shelves this week you definitely will see it early next week.

 

Did anyone ask yet when it will hit Minnesota? I want some.

So, I pre-ordered the variants on the app earlier this week and wanted to increase the order, but there's no way I can see to do that. Is it possible?

These guys are long-gone bro. But no worries, those who already bought them on the app will have their pre-ordered supply waiting for them down at the brewery. Oh, and there will be no line and certainly no waiting in line only to eventually find out we're all sold out.
