BA Bernese is fantastic. I pick it up every year, one of my favorite BW's anywhere.

It's on sale at the flats taproom for sure, along with the rest of the BA lineup. Also, Mack's in Parma usually gets lots of their BA stuff and likely has it too.

Cavalier is distributing it this week. Picked some up yesterday in Cincy.

Btw, do NOT sleep on this beer if you're not familiar with it; had it on draft a couple months ago and it is really good.

Black Note in Akron. Seems "slightly" more plentiful than previous years.

 

There is a lot around Ohio as well, plus it has been in the taproom for quite a bit as well, allegedly.

I'm sure more events are gonna start rolling in soon, but first one I've seen so far, Tremont Taphouse will have '17 BCBS regular and coffee tapping at 4pm next Wednesday 11/22.

EDIT: Based on all the BCBS threads here and on FB, it looks like regular and coffee are gonna be plentiful and have major distro this year. The rest of the variants, not sure much, which makes sense.

 

There's another "more reputable" beer store on the same street that has done the same in the past.

I remember buying Zombie Dust months before Three Floyds returned to Ohio.

 

I know I am nitpicking, but when you say plentiful, do you just mean that more places are GETTING coffee, so there is a higher probability of getting a Coffee, or have you seen anyplace indicate they received enough coffee they are allowing 2 in an allotment?

 

From what I can tell (zero inside info btw) I think more places are GETTING it, but not a lot of it. Seems to me it'll be similar to the recent Jackie O's BBBM vs VBBBM. Lots of places got both, but it was like 6 cases to 1 regular vs vanilla. Could be wrong, but seeing that they're sending at least SOME coffee all over the country this year and the fact it's also gonna be on tap a lot of places, that's kinda the feeling I get.

 

Cool. Yea, I haven't seen anything indicating anything else, but that's one reason why I was curious.

From everything I have read, I'm kind of expecting that if a store get Coffee there's a high probability it is getting Northwoods also (or vice versa), but I have almost no evidence to support this. Just seems like those that are getting large enough allocations to qualify for 1 are qualifying for the other also. But beyond that, I have no idea if places are likely to get more northwoods or more coffee. My intuition is Northwoods, but not much to support that besides rumors that Northwoods is fairly plentiful.

 

I know him. I'll hold my tongue on this one. But I could tell tales, trust me.
