This BCBS thread is proceeding as normal.

 

We all do have our moments of weakness. I’ve tried my best most of the time, and have tried to improve overall with taking a more positive approach to things and less worrying about the things I may not care for that others do.

We’ve all got different opinions obviously but I’d consider snark pretty differently than what has gone on here. Snark is usually done tongue in cheek, although I suppose that can come off differently when looking at words on a screen than when talking in person.

 

Hopefully I can find a bottle, just won't be locally (we don't get it here because of cross distro between inbev and GI). I do have a bit of time before work Friday, and I'll be searching out of town then.

 

It's not insane at all. Most, if not all, markets simply use volume of Sofie and Matilda sales to allocate BCBS yield. Done and dusted. I believe when 312 PA came out in 12pk cans that was part of the formula too, or maybe a kicker/tiebreaker.

You, sir, are a hero. I know a lot of people try to do good in the world by volunteering at homeless shelters, donating time and money to worthy causes, etc....but you've really topped them all by sitting at home with your family, not buying delicious beer.

 

Did you forget? His greatest act of kindness of caring about our blood pressure and whether we are calm. Whoa! Almost had a heart palpitation. Thank goodness for @dbag - wait, that didn't work - @dbagsachod - or we'd all be dead. God bless trolls and self richeous warnings against the evil empire.

Where is locally? I called a few stores in the metro area that have their allotments for Friday.

Today at Costco. My buddy in the Bay Area said he found it at Costco as well. Call first before heading over and see if its in stock (Item # 1196192). Good luck!

 

You've obviously not met my family. In addition to the time away from them, I pretty much NEED the BCBS in order to be around them.

Guess I'll have to check our Costco. How many cases do they get? Wonder if it each Costco gets allocations depending on their GI sales, or if Costco manages to get a corporate deal?

 

I'd assume it is the former.

I am told that some Sam's clubs do as well. I've called half a dozen in and around several parts of the state that I am frequently in, and I have only found a couple that will be getting it. Or, at least, a couple that KNOW what the hell I am talking about.
