Anyone else think its kind of funny that one of the few times they don't name a new beer after food is the pre-Thanksgiving release?

This would be a bummer. I almost can almost never make it to OH, and definitely a can release, but do have time on Wednesday and was hoping to be there at 12 to score cans.

I’m not a huge fan, but may go no matter what to get growlers.

Gonna be sitting on pins and needles all day at work tomorrow, and probably will sprint to the G train.

Yea, oat cream'd or not, OH's big DIPAs don't pair well with any foods I've tried... They're just too overwhelmingly fruity+sweet+bitter in a way that is delicious on its own, but really overwhelms any accompanying food. Plus a single of DDH DMD is over half a meal itself (calorically speaking).

Would be open to hearing about anyone else's more successful attempts at pairings, though!

Cheetos, potato chips, or popcorn... in that order... at least for me

Makes sense, as all of those foods are super salty, and salt will suppress accumulated bitterness.

Over the weekend I paired Mylar daydream with some liver and fava beans pretty successfully

They pair very nicely with oysters, and serviceably with pizza.

I would much rather drink a red wine than a NE IPA at Thanksgiving

Vegetarianism rules out oysters for me, but I do concur on the pizza, albeit only for the lighter, crisper hoppy offerings. Recent discovery: cans of DDH Small Green + Lucali pizza =:heart_eyes::heart_eyes:

    At Thanksgiving Dinner -

"Would you like some wine, Bill?"

*reaches under table into cooler and pulls out all 4 Triangle variants as well as corresponding Teku's*

"No thanks, I brought my own stuff"

Lucali pizza is dope, but their calzone is a religious experience.

Maybe the $18 is the inflated MSRP retailers start with, and then slash the price by 50% on Black Friday to lull you into a false sense of a sale and added compulsion to buy.
