I'm going to be back in Cleveland for Thanksgiving and I was wondering if anyone knew what Bourbon County distro is looking like? Is it only going to be a few shops? Any idea on variants? Thanks for your help!

Downtown Heinen's will probably have the most amount along with variants. Other Heinen's will be getting some regular, but it won't be a lot it sounds like. Lizardville's will also be getting some bottles of regular, and will have regular and coffee on draft. Outside of that, I'm not sure what other bottle shops around will be getting it.

Do you know if Heien's has a set time they are releasing or somewhere they will post it?

Does anyone have any insight to availability in Dayton / Cincy? I'll be near Eaton for the Holiday and am currently considering heading to Indy. Sounds like Belmont isnt getting any this week and cant figure out Ollies.

Everything that I can tell is that Kroger (locations with liquor stores) is getting a significant portion of the allotment in the Cincinnati and Dayton area. Jungle Jim's is getting some at their Fairfield location, but maybe not their Eastgate location. It's all based on who sells the most GI the rest of the year, I assume Belmont and Ollie's don't sell that much of their stuff.

More specifically, their Belgians (Matilda, Sophie...) from what my friend who owns a large bottle shop/state store said. Which makes sense because I think he sells a decent amount of GI in general, but said it will only be distributed to the larger cities for the most part. Kind of a bummer because I have to drive at least an hour and a half in either direction if not 2. 3 to Cincy. I could always use an excuse to go to Jungle Jims though !

I know there's an InBev love fest happening (:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:), but there's also a triple bottle release at Fifty West on Friday. IMO, 3 amazing beers being released:
    BBA 10 & 2 Barleywine (gold medal @ GABF '17)
Whiskey BA Ghost of Imogene Imp Stout
Brett Is My Copilot Sour Blond

And if BCBS is your thing, you could probably do both as the 50 West release is at noon (at least that's what I'm told). Although they never announce it, the draft list at their releases is always epic- and so are the bottle shares in line. Not sure about allotments; anyone else know?

Heard from a shop owner that Hamilton County is getting variants but the surrounding area in SW Ohio is only getting stout (Dayton included).

Stopped in my local shop yesterday to ask about it. The owner told me he put in his order yesterday and won't be getting it til the 6th. He said he's getting two cases.

It seems like multiple shops in the Columbus area are releasing 2016 KBS ahead of the CBS release next week. I saw that Savor Growl was doing so, but just figured they had been hoarding it in the back. But then Gentile's also said they would be releasing 2016 KBS today?

If anyone is still looking, BCBS and Northwoods are still available in the Akron area.

Where in Akron? I’d love to get a bottle of the coffee. Had a taste this week. Wow is all I can say.

I had a bottle of BCBCS and Champion Ground back to back last week and as much as I enjoyed the BCBCS, I would choose Champion Ground any day over it. I love the rich, dark chocolate and bitter coffee from CG.
