I'm a little ashamed to admit this on a forum of beer nerds but I got a society growler (32oz) fill of 2016 Hoarders Cuvee last year when they had a "fill anything" promotion...and I held onto it for, like, two months before drinking. Turns out that as a RS member at the time, the impulse to wait for the perfect occasion to drink my only taste of HC16 ever (so I thought, this was before they wound up selling more bottles earlier this year) beat out the impulse to open a growler fresh.

Anyway it wasn't very carbed when I finally opened it but it still tasted fantastic!

Word on the street is that if you take a video of yourself shotgunning a crowler of Grey Monday and tag @bruerysocieties in your Instabook video, you get to name the next Weekday beer. The staff will deny this, but I swear that its a real thing.

Should be a full 64 oz growler. Only two days of the week left, gotta make it tough.

In my experience crowlers in general last quite a long time and taste pretty damn good for many months after getting the pour. I remember having a BA Ten Fidy from a crowler over a year old that tasted fantastic. In general the drink by date of a crowler or properly sealed growler is underestimated.

Bring your own bottle of Starsan to spray on the crowler lining before they fill it.

Current ig posting on ig terreux societies now says "excludes any nitro beers, society exclusives and bottle pours" so now it's only public available beers..

    Mehhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

There's crowler pricing on untappd for society beers. That was likely (hopefully) just for the general public?

Maybe it's public for non members and anything except bottle/nitro for members but it's confusing to understand..

How much of a Chocolate Rain surplus is there? It has been part of a dozen sales this year. Now I can buy a bottle that some guy scribbled his name on with a sharpie. There has to be a pretty hefty surplus out there.

Bruery: please please please just sell CR at a more reasonable price point.

Slow news day: Bruery beer names always fun, however I see I haven't tried any starting with the letters E, K, N or X (I'm counting the Z for Zesty Mounds). E is my fault for not liking sours (Elements series), but @BruerJoel I think the marketing team has a challenge for 2018...

They have you covered on N. The Garage Project collaboration is called Ngongo.

I'd let Or Xata slide as X.

Had some bottles of Rest go bad. Had one last night and had to pour it out. Society members are telling me I need to take it to the tasting room with the receipt. Save your receipts on big purchases!

As a society member, all purchases should be saved on file. right?
