    Not sure.

My Costco didn’t have too much. Looked like 3 cases on the floor for immediate sale. Me and another guy spotted them at the same time and began talking. Not sure if he was a BA member, but he told me about some of the stuff he has cellared. An older lady overheard us and asked us which beer we were talking about. She said she had to try it. It was priced at $8.79 per bottle. I only got a few this year as gifts.

My buddy in the Bay Area said his Costco had 160 bottles.

Got one case of BCBS coming my way guaranteed. Maybe a barleywine. Coffee is nearly impossible to get around here. I'm not too upset, it'll save me money and if I want a coffee bcbs I'll French press it.

Not a fan. I find BCBS too sweet and syrup like for my taste. It's a great beer and I rated it 4.25 on Untappd but not One I hunt down. I might open an older bottle on Friday with friends and see how 2014 is doing. I stopped buying after I bought 1 bottle in 2015, still sitting on it. Back in 012 it was a shelf turd and I would buy a few here and there to cellar. They are great beers to open and share with friends. I can deal with 3-4 oz at a time.

    Enjoy

2014 is drinking mighty fine. Hands down my favorite from the last several years, but also the first bcbs I ever hauled so it holds a special place in my heart

Still no emails or FB posts For a local shop. Hype at all time low levels. I guess I'll ask them tomorrow what's up. Lines used to be 50-100 deep with shares as you'd wait in line. Maybe I just walk in Friday at normal
Hours and get a normal allocation? Hype always seemed to disturb normal work flow. Maybe it's Not worth their time anymore.

So just heard from @Beerbom tonight. He checked the Bay Area Costco my buddy frequents and discovered they have 180 bottles on hand, but nothing on the floor (possibly holding back until Friday).

Looks like my Costco jumped the gun and put it out early.

It depends on whether the distributors and retailers are aboard with the black Friday release - apparently no repercussions from GI for early release. Some distributors just want to get it out the door and leave it up to the retailers. Retailers are going to sell it all quickly anyway and don't have anything to gain by waiting until black Friday.

Around here, the distributor doesn't start delivering it to the stores until Friday. Smaller accounts will get it with their weekly delivery next week. First time I got some two years ago, I missed out on Friday but found two bottles at a small-town grocery the next Tuesday.

Called a few liquor stores in my area and was told BCBS until first of the year in Oklahoma or later.

When has it hit there in past years? Unless it's come that late in the past, I'd say it's BS.

I'd suggest watching for it starting Friday like the rest of us.

BTW - is the supply of the Prairie Stouts (like Pirate Bomb/Noir) any more plentiful/consistent than it is here? We never know when or if it will show up or how much will be available.

I was at Food Emporium this afternoon and the guy there said no Coffee, as he was holding a bottle in his hand. Dishonest employees! No wonder nobody buys from you!

Eff that, I would've knocked it out of his hand. If you can't have one, as a customer, neither should that a-hole, as an employee taking advantage and blatantly lying to you.

Chill bro they sell more beer than anyone in that area thats why they got such a great allocation.. maybe you should support them so you can get whatever beer you want as life is better with friends

Then keep it in the back. Why would I be a regular at a store that lies to their customers? Its a real shame this store got such a large allocation with such garbage employees. You're not fooling anyone btw.
More lies. Why would I support a grocery store that lies to customers and tries to sell months older beer at inflated prices? And why would I be friends with people that lie to my face?
