In the tasting room you usually just get the total amount receipt. I seldom get the itemized one.

Is the tap listing on the website the same for both OG and Terreux? And do both usually have the same bottle selection to go?

No, the web site is different for the tap list. Generally terreux has a better list - IMO.

I don't pay attention to the selection of bottles, to go.

Oh yeah! I always forget they have a separate terreux.com domain - thanks!

I only care about to-go bottles because they have older things there that you can't order online.

For older bottles I'd say OG and the society pickup room. Don't think I've seen older ones from terreux.

A few lambic producers (e.g. Cantillon, De Troch) use wine-style corks with caps over for their bottlings, and those beers are very carbonated.

Look for the "bottle list" link in the top left corner of the tasting room list and you'll be able to see what bottles they have at that location.

Like I stated, "I've never seen a carbonated liquid bottled without using a caged cork or a bottle cap."

Maybe they're trying another still beer like Turo (which I still haven't opened).

No need to get defensive. Based on your query about the wine bottle format, I took your quote to mean just a bottle cap, not a cap with a wine cork beneath it, which is what I presume the Bruery will do, and what I gave a precedent for.

Loved that "beer"... this was definitely more of a wine that had hints of a beer, rather than the other way around.

Headed out in two weeks for EBF. I’ve been a RS member for a few years now and I’m pretty damn excited to finally get a chance to check out the tasting rooms before my membership transfers over to DC in the new year. Any tips or suggestions to make the most out of the experience are greatly appreciated. Cheers!

Hit the OG tasting room in the afternoon before 4 and the Terreux tasting room anytime after that. I personally think the Terreux tasting room has a better selection at all times. While you're there might as well hit up Bottle Logic, they should have Darkstar November up.

Then head down to Old Town Orange for some dinner (or lunch) hit up Provisions or Havens Gastropub. Great selection of beer and really delicious food.

Definitely check out Anaheim Packing House (Iron Press FTW!) for lunch/dinner/drinks after hitting up Bruery/Bottle Logic. Unsung is right next door too.

I wonder how long it'll take for those BT Reserves to sell out...
