This is my third year going to Sheffields for their event. If anyone is trying to gauge the "hype", it is noticbly more crowded this year. For the first time, I had to wait for a table for dinner.

I can't imagine the shitshow if they actually waited until six to tap everything.

 

How is Sheffields now? Might head there for the 8/9pm release

 

Would be nice if they gave enough kegs to enough places to blanket the city for the Black Friday festivities so you could easily find, walk in, sit and enjoy it rather than standing 5 deep at a bar getting jostled the whole time. The releases in bars now really makes camping outside of Binnys for 10 hours seem reasonable.

 

You will not get a table. You will easily find a few square feet to establish a perimeter.

 

Props to Sheffields for not telling anyone it was a ticketed release for Knob and Northwoods. Superb

 

How long were you able to warm it? I got little banana on Prop Day but it was so cold outside that I assumed that was the reason

Those who go to Tim O'Tooles on Friday how crazy is it? Do they typically stagger the tappings or is everything on at 5pm?

Am I shit out of luck if I don't camp out for this a week ago? Thanks in advance!

 

I've been there the last 4 years and it's usually dead until later on in the day. Get there at open and you're good

Just for yuks, I did drive by Lincoln Park Binny's on my way home just after 8:30. Happy to report that, unlike previous years, there was no line.

That said, they did already have the "line starts here" decals on the door.

 

Any good tappings/events on Sunday? Gf works Friday/Saturday and we’re hoping to drink some Prop and watch football somewhere

 

I can’t answer your question but try to pay attention to the threads as it relates to Friday/Saturday toppings. Leftover variants at open may be your best bet

Man, walk away for two hours to see a peep show and suddenly the space, tent, sidewalk slab, and my dog, Cleo (short for Cleophus) a bulldog/shorthair mix, are all missing.

I don't know what you are talking about as we've been in line since yesterday. My 12 person tent has an urban camo pattern, so maybe that's how you missed us. Line starts behind the invisible cube on the sidewalk boys!
